i love this game so much, played it a ton as a kid.

Great strategy game, 3 races are different, but balanced. I enjoy learning the strengths of the units and using them effectively

Uniwar is basically Starcraft meets Advance Wars (more the latter in gameplay, more the former in factions), switched to a hex grid and adding its own unique repair mechanic that definitely makes a difference in terms of strategy. If you like games like Advance Wars, this likely will be for you. This is a port of the mobile game, meaning the interface is still relatively geared for a touchscreen. I disagree though that this is much of an issue, as it does not much differ in the end from most games in the genre in terms of handling. It feels nicer to play on a bigger screen and I appreciate having everything unlocked and no adds to annoy you. Online multiplayer games alas tend to just, as is usual with this style of matchmaking and turn taking, be rather drawn out affairs. ^^ ; Still would recommend even for playing against AI / bots.

Fascinating intricate strategy game.

Stratégie au tour par tour excellent depuis des années.

The game is great. The interface needs polish. The game is playable, but I'd much rather use the touch-screen interface on my phone. If you use a smart phone regularly, get the game on the phone first. If you want to support the developers, get this version as well.
