For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

"When a Fairytale Adventure Feels More Like a Bedtime Story." At first, I was honestly very intrigued by the premise of Union of Gnomes. A roguelike deckbuilder with a gnome-focused world mixed with fairy tale elements sounded genuinely unique, especially for a genre that often repeats the same dark fantasy or sci-fi themes. The concept and setting immediately caught my attention, and as someone who loves roguelike deckbuilders, I expected this to be something I’d really get into. Unfortunately, in my short time playing it, I was surprised by how quickly the game lost my interest. Despite being fairly straightforward mechanically, the overall pacing felt oddly slow and dragged down the experience for me. Even shorter runs somehow felt like a slog to get through, which is the opposite of what I usually want from this genre. There’s constantly a lot happening on screen and within the systems, but instead of feeling engaging, it mostly just felt tiring. The biggest issue by far for me was the loading times. They were honestly insanely bad for a single-player roguelike deckbuilder and completely killed the flow of the game. It’s very unusual for games in this genre to struggle that much with loading, so every delay felt even more noticeable and frustrating. That ended up becoming my biggest gripe overall because it made the entire experience feel less responsive and far slower than it should have been. The presentation also didn’t fully land for me either. The art style feels inconsistent at times, almost like certain visual elements belong to completely different games and don’t blend together naturally. On top of that, the music is very mellow and low-energy, which only added to the sluggish feeling the game already had during runs. To be fair, there’s clearly a lot of content and ideas packed into the game, and I can see some players appreciating the slower pace and unique setting. But personally, I just couldn’t stick with it long enough to really enjoy what it was trying to do. Ultimately, this ended up being one of my least favorite roguelike deckbuilders I’ve played in quite a while, which is disappointing because the premise had a lot of potential.
This game made some design decisions that I find hard to understand. You start with a deck of 10 gnomes, and then have the ability to add more throughout each run. But the gnomes you start out with are no less powerful then the ones you find along the way, so unlike StS you aren't making your deck stronger by adding new cards; you are just diluting it and pivoting somewhat. Furthermore, you have to pay upkeep for each gnome in your deck. It is a very thematic rule, but mechanically it makes adding more cards have an even larger drag. Combined with needing to upgrade gnomes individually, the end result is that increasing your squad is liable to make you weaker, not stronger.

Fun game.
I mean.. I can't say I find it that fun. It's a solid game, but the feeling of lack of progression and modifying your deck takes the fun out of the game. At this point, I am just trying not to have anything added to the starter deck... and lack of progression or the excitement of "What is in that next pack", ruins the fun. Sooo... get it or don't... well made, but not the most fun.
