Under One Wing

I like visual novels, this was probably the 9th or 10th one I played. Personally, I felt that each of the routes had many plot holes or pacing jumps which took away from the experience for me. Nahoko's VA was also a little hard to listen to. The art is good, the H-scenes (if you get them) are good, and the music is ok, but overall I think you could get a better game for the price.

Well, I had a lot of fun with this one, I have to say. It seems expensive at first, but considering that the ride took me 46 hours on max reading speed (which means: as fast as the actors speak), it's more than OK. You get about 15-20 hours of a common route where all the things to come are being set up. And then you can choose each girls route to follow further for 6-10 hours each. HINT: Place a save game conveniently when the choice pops up. So you can easily navigate all routes after another. HINT2: The really lewd stuff exclusively happens in the character routes. So, sorry. But you need to hold back until then... I actually would have liked being able to date Saiko though... She's a very sweet person too. All of the girls have very different personalities and they didn't feel like cardboard cutouts of the usual bunch. Some of them feel like one at first. But while following the story, it's becoming clear, that none of them actually is. Which is great. Even with such different girls, I ended up liking and caring about each single one eventually, as they and "me" overcome some struggle or resolve some long standing isues in their life. Or just grow as a person. I actually don't know what the 18+ Patch unlocks. But I guess, only the explicit scenes. If I had to chose (well, I did...) I'd say: Get the patch. Just because why not. Ah, and btw: The story about planes and aerial combat is also pretty unusual and nicely done. I'm into planes myself. So I didn't just get this for the cute girls. I swear! It has good pacing for the most part. I had to force myself to stop reading every evening. The voice acting is honestly fantastic in ANY situation. (I mean: ANY. For some scenes, you should consider using headphones. Trust me. ;D) The drawings are nice. Vivid colors. Highly detailed backgrounds. Also the lew ones. (and 100% explicit, when it counts.) In 2 or 3 panels, Junichis body is kinda weird though. He looks much older and has darker skin tone than he should. But oh well. Who looks at the guy anyway, right? XD There is quite an assortment of music in this, to suit the scenes. So I felt, it was not as repetitive as it often is with VNs. Only one technical thing: Sometimes, some voices are way too quiet when multiple people have a conversation. That happens throughout the whole game from time to time. So, to wrap it up: Technically sound, good art, Nice story, nice girls, nice planes, fantastic voice acting. A lot of bang for the buck. It's an eroge, but it has to offer much more than just that. Pretty happy with it.

[h1] 游戏介绍 [/h1] 《Under One Wing（在同一屋檐的羽翼之下）》是一款由Harmorise开发，Sol Press发行的校园恋爱冒险类视觉小说。游戏讲述了男主角佐佐木隼一是传奇F F飞行员的孙子，也正是由于这样的原因，他来到了名为“翔欧学院”（专门培养空战竞技）的名校，但是当他来到宿舍之后，发现这里所有的住客全部都是妹子，于是则开始了属于他的恋爱喜剧。 [h1] 游戏的画面与音乐 [/h1] 游戏的画面制作方面算比较精良的，本作一共有四位性格迥然不同的妹子，基本上可以满足玩家的喜好，并且颜色的运用使得画面变得更加靓丽，具有不错的观赏性，无论是立绘还是CG都将这一点完美的表现了出来。当然本作的主题与飞机有关，自然少不了飞机的各种出现，首先是绘制了很多空战中飞机完美身姿，让我们可以感受到空战的刺激，其次会在剧情进行的时候，偶尔会插入一些飞机的科普，喜欢飞机的玩家可以来看看，最后就是UI的设计，很有一种开飞机的感觉，从点击的背景音效和要选中图片时的画面展示，活脱脱就是一种坐在战斗机上的感受。音乐方面表现相对比较平庸，但战斗时的背景音却很有感觉，对气氛的营造起了十分大的作用，使得战斗更有观感。 [h1] 游戏的剧情感受 [/h1] 游戏的剧本还是比较长的，由共通线与个人线组成，而共通线的选项间隔分布不一，有的太长，有的太短，建议还是积极存档，免得选错要重新C剧情，而进个人线的选项则十分的明显，选择对应飞机则可以完成。游戏主要则是以F F大赛为目标而进行的，其间的日常除了对于比赛的训练与学习之外，也有着自己搞笑的部分，比如刚开始我们就会看到隼一和一彩住在一个房间的问题（谁让他们都叫佐佐木），还有第一个让这个游戏有点神秘色彩的女角色——白毛萝莉松本三毬（喜欢三毬的我们都是好朋友），当然最刺激的莫过于空中竞技的部分，飞机与飞机之间的配合，交战，策略，都让空中竞技的主题得以升华，让战斗的过程变得更加有趣。 [h1] 游戏的优点 [/h1] +精致的画面制作 +相对不错的剧本 +充满个性的人物 [h1] 游戏总结 [/h1] 总体而言，游戏的质量还是挺不错的，剧情丰富，喜欢飞机的玩家可以来尝试一下。 评分：8/10 [quote]欢迎加入[url=https://steamcommunity.com/groups/HY_Master]黄油大师[/url]，一同挖掘好玩的游戏吧~ 欢迎关注[url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/33741419/]黄油大师鉴赏家[/url]，查看趣味性评测 各种类型应有尽有。加入我们，搜寻更多精品游戏吧！[/quote]

It's a shame that UOW is recognized by very small community, cuz it's very good eroge pros: +overall decent story +likeable characters +modern and beautiful character design +best h-scenes ever, they are really good because there no mosaic, it's very long and most importanly they are equal, meaning it's not about pleasure of MC only like in every other vn (like bj then sex/handj then sex/footf then sex etc) +wholesome love stories (not as wholesome as, for example, in Smee VNs like Making Lovers or Sugar Style but it can be forgiven because aforementioned novels are about romance only w/o any other plots) there is cons ofc, but they are not really significant, but it would be fair to mention them, so here we go: -Nahoko route - idk what the hell was that, it's just bad with big B, both in terms of love story and in terms of h-scenes (only exception in the game), also her route has side character with very unpleasant voice and she makes appearence fairly often -Play one route after another consistently can be boring because routes are more or less connected to fairy fights plot In addition, if u like to play eroge with only one girl - just pick Kazusa, she is incredible in her route

i havent found VN with story like this, so maybe you can expect some fresh story from this one i know you might think this one is looks like aokana, but im pretty sure it is much different from aokana, because of the story driven. the developer can divide between romance story and the competition thing to be balanced. and last, damn nahoko is thicc af ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Under One Wing it's a beautiful game (I mean it's art), but that's it. The sound editing is more than lacking - The voices aren't even the same volume, the music halts out of the blue and won't resume until you reach one point and the voice acting of the person that does Nahoko is plain awful. The routes are bland in every way possible; if there were no 18+ content on them they would be just bare boring (content which you only can get from third party pages). They didn't even pay attention to the events (weather, what other characters should be doing, etc) common to all routes; on one route it pours like hell at some point an on other is bright skies all the time. The concept itself it pretty cool, but everything else is plain meh and forgettable at best.

Difficult to recommend this one. I liked Kazusa and Hikari but their routes were okay at best. I didn't like Nahoko or her route and I didn't bother reading Mimari's route. The dogfights seemed unrealistic and their outcomes contrived. The protagonist was annoying and completely lacking any originality; he felt like a mashup of the worst moege protagonist tropes. Overall I didn't care for it very much. Hikari's H-scenes were quite good though.

[h1] 精美的作画与新颖的题材 [/h1] 从本作的cg以及op都能看出本作在美术上的精细程度，游戏对人物的把控很到位，并且上色圆润，让整体看起来十分舒服，并且在每个角色的战机上也加上了独有的特点，可以看出本作美术做的十分不错。而更让人惊喜的是本作加上了飞机，战斗，等军事要素，而当美少女驾驶战机，开始空中战斗比赛，又会擦出怎么样的火花呢？这一新颖的题材与美少女相结合可谓是吸引了一大批军事爱好者以及美少女狂热粉，题材也十分新颖，因此本作的选材上也十分不错，并且配合上好听的op，舒适的音乐，以及战斗时的危机感，将气氛烘托的十分到位。 [h1] 总结 [/h1] 一款优秀的空战题材的galgame，精细的美术，新颖的题材，动听的配乐可谓是游戏的一大卖点，可惜的是本作不支持中文，而据我所知本作的发行商也大概率不会出官方中文，只能啃英文或者想办法找找民间的资源了。
