I have at most thirty to sixty minutes a day to play games. In this precious time I want to accomplish something and feel manly. UL II gives me just that. I died repeatedly from level 4 on (normal difficulty) but a little training, grinding and tweaking of the spheres and items helps alot. If I die, I know where I messed things up and If I succeed ("YEAAHH" --gunner), I know why. My adventures in higher difficulties ended early which gives me this SUV-effect: "If I find the time, I could go into the real depths of this game." Some unpredictable enemies, a hoard of stupid ones or a combination of both - everytime I manage to get myself out of a bad situation it feels great. This is my feelgood game for the evening.

VERY basic top down survival shooter. It may keep a small child occupied for a minute or two I suppose. Other than that, not worth the time it takes to download
Surprisingly good! I know the dev team from their previous titles, 'Undead Legion 1' and 'Battlepaths'. Too bad I didn't hear about this sooner because this is a fine combination of Gauntlet and Hero Defense. They avoided so many design mistakes that it is a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, it is another game that suffers from Early Access, but with the bulk of the game being complete, it doesn't matter so much in this price bracket. The biggest hurdle is the art. While I don't mind it, I know a lot of people are graphic snobs and the style immediately turned off most of my friends before they tried it through Remote Play. Some of the good design choices include: An arena with a modifiable home base, the home base isn't required to protect, heroes can be upgraded, good variety of useful equipment, and a large amount of enemies that require different tactics to combat. (My favorite being the jump function used as a dodge against Ogres and Land Sharks.) For the negatives: - You have to beat the first three levels before playing multiplayer. Those three levels don't do a great job teaching you how to play. They mostly are fluff levels to enhance your hero's stats. - The gold system is mostly a stalling mechanic to grind levels, but it isn't that grindy as later levels give a larger amount of gold for upgrades. - Incomplete game that is 2 years past it's Early Access estimate. The game was officially abandoned in 2019, so the usefulness of heroes will vary. Gunner and Rogue are good enough for most players, but since 4 players can only have 1 unique hero out at once, somebody might get gimped from the other two underdeveloped heroes. The abilities haven't been too substantial, so it might be a moot problem for most. 6/10 (5 being average.)
Undead Legions II is a badly made 2D retro pixel (with some crappy non-pixel artwork that demonstrates there was no clear vision for the art design of the game as it fails to meet any retro or modern aesthetic and just looks bad) top down twin stick shooter that seems to have been rejected from the console platforms (no surprises there), but $100 and Valve will take any garbage, so this is on Steam. The game was abandoned roughly 3 months after launch and hasn't been updated in over 2 years. It blew past the developers commitment to complete the game without any notification or admission of failure from the developer. The game will never be completed. It's a very poorly done 2D top down shooter with an "undead" theme, poor gameplay and the usual laundry list of defects we've come to expect from games at the shallow end of the pool. There's no general interest in the game for gamers as the SteamDB stats show, and this is most likely caused not only by the weak game concept but the weak technical implementation. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. A choice was made to use obsolete, decades old retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. Some of the defects in the game can be attributed to the choice of using the video game construction kit/toolset, Microsoft XNA Game Studio. This is a very poor quality toolset sometimes used by amateur/unskilled developers as it doesn't require advanced game development skills, but unfortunately has very limited capabilities. Just as you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear, you can't make a great video game if you use a terrible engine. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 3 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. Another unethical act of this developer, knowing full well that this game is abandoned and they will never complete it, they are deliberately trying to scam gamers into buying it by offering it on discount from time to time. It's impossible to "accidentally" discount a game. The developer looked at their abandoned game, and instead of doing the right thing and removing it from Steam, they instead doubled-down and tried to scam even more people into paying for it. Greedy, and completely unethical. Doing the wrong thing, on purpose, for money. This is not okay. It goes without saying that as the developer continues to attempt to mislead and scam gamers, they've kept all money taken despite failing their commitment to complete the game. Undead Legions II has the pathetically optimistic price of around $4 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the sheer number of completely free, much higher quality games on Steam.
Yes cool geim kill zomb
Its a very fun defense shooter and although I played it, one player, I can see how it would be even more fun with friends.
my game quit then i want to play a new hero what is wrong
an interesting play it has some bugs that can crash the game but for its price its entertaining enough. its somewhat like vampire survivors however it has a unique system called spheres witch acts as little bases or power up generators. final rating gold needed/ my decaying soul
