I really like this game! Its short but fun.

Se ve ne sono apparsi di meno avete appena scoperto a quanto ammontano le quote di Steam) Su itch mi era piaciuto un sacco e voglio darvi fiducia e finanziarvi. Il pollo di gomma e basta mi lascia ben sperare (anche se in sé è già una citazione indiretta). Aggiornerò la recensione non appena ci avrò giocato davvero. Intanto pollice in su per ciò che avevo già visto su itch.io

I really loved this. The characters and dialogue are genuinely funny, the voice acting is great. Puzzles are logical and engaging. The only downside is that the game left me wanting more time with it.

I've been looking forward to this game for a while, and I'm glad I finally got to play it! It's super fun and reminds me of the humor of classic point-and-click games I used to love. The characters are all so likable. Ines is fantastic, and Uncle Lee always cracks me up. I love discovering the game\pop references and the references of the game itself. The graphics are also really nice. The animations are top! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This is such a fun point and click game. It has really smart mechanics, quirky and lovable characters, great voice acting, and charming music. I also really liked the episodic story, weird humor, and helpful hint system. The best part is that the puzzles actually make sense. There is clear logic behind the item usage, so when you figure something out, it feels clever instead of frustrating. The ending did feel a little abrupt, and I was hoping for more of a grand finale, but it somehow fits the tone of the whole game- quirky, unexpected, and a bit chaotic in its own way. Still, it definitely left me wanting more episodes with Uncle Eel ; ). I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys quirky adventure games with logical puzzles and lots of personality.

A charming set of traditional adventure styled episodes. If you've ever enjoyed an adventure game you'll like this one. The game has a tutorial and five chapters. The tutorial and first two chapters are very short, with the later chapters (especially 4) being more substantial. The graphics and interactions in all episodes are highly polished. The puzzles are overall of reasonable difficulty - no real head scratchers, there were a few where I used the in-game hint system because I got stuck, but it was due to me overlooking things. There's no pixel hunting because the game has indicators for interactable areas. I enjoyed playing through the story as-is, but if you're a completionist it looks like there's a good selection of achievements to reward finding weird states.

Uncle Lee's Cookbook: Five Recipes for Disaster is a very fun game, with good puzzles, with genuinely funny writing. It always a pleasure to hear Sally Beaumont voice act in a game. I had no idea that she was in this game, and I recognised her voice right away. :-)
