Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 6 → 0.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

a very short game, the organization is satisfying, however, it lacks any meaningful storyline.
I think we all played Unpacking and finished it wanting to play more or something similar. This is not it. While unpacking has the story and the aesthetics, this one has also few levels but no story or feelings. The thing unbox the room has that's different is the sandbox (but I didn't enjoyed playing it for long.) full price? never. or maybe try finishing it in under 2h so that you can request a refund if you end up not liking it. sorry for the devs if it sounds mean

Unpacking-like graphics, but no real storyline. Very very few levels. I was through after about 5hrs of playtime and I'm very sure I idled a lot and were afk. In my opinion, not worth the money they're asking for.
I was very excited to play this as a lover of unpacking/cleaning/organizing games. There's nothing *wrong* with the game per se but like another review said, youre unboxing the same things over and over so it feels like there isn't anything different happening. It's frustrating to be unboxing the same 5-7 books on every level.
A simple unpacking game. You start with little items and as the game progresses get bigger items and larger jobs, for example going from one room to four. The story is cute. There is not much depth to it, but you get an idea about the person and why they have moved in, which gives you some ideas for decoration inspiration. For me, I enjoy the simplicity of unpacking and arranging items. I also love similar games such as Unpacking and Packing Life. If you want a game you can pick up and switch off the real world for a couple of hours, this is the game for you. Positives: ⭐ Easy to unpack and arrange items & furniture ⭐ Simplistic in nature, a great game to switch off the world for a few hours ⭐ I like the game design - the items are cute, especially the paintings ⭐ It's nice to be able to customise the items/furniture later in the game Downsides: ⬇️ Doesn't have a long or rich story, just small messages before you begin unpacking a room ⬇️ Only around 2-3 hours to complete the game. You can of course replay, but as the levels are similar, I may wait a few months before doing so ⬇️ Some items can only be rotated certain ways, which sometimes makes them look awkward Ultimately, I enjoyed this game and I am sure I will come back to it in the future.
Fun little game. Some of the objects don't have correct layering. So a pill bottle set on a shelf will appear in front of it for instance. I really wish the game had more items per level. Things were really simple and there didn't need to be much thought for the layout. It was incredibly short. Even taking my time it was under 2 hours. I think there are enough areas that need improvement and it was so short for the price point it doesn't get my recommendation. If this is on a major sale pick it up but otherwise pass.
Unbox the Room is a cozy unpacking sim game. You play as a new employee of a moving company and each level is part of your training. I would recommend this game to those who are looking to scratch the itch after playing a game such as Unpacking.
I finished the entire game fairly quickly in two hours. I was initially entertained but the jobs quickly became repetitive with no real depth and the same furniture and decor being used over and over.
Gatitos, muchos gatitos.
