Unbound Drift

This game has come a long way from the demo. The # of levels has increased and a few have a maze like structure that can making get lost really easy, but it never feels like your fully lost because of all the collectibles, different background features to see, and there is always something to do. The movement feels super fluid and is very addicting, which can be hard to do when dealing with swinging physics and elasticity. I spent half an hour just zooming around in the zen mode. I swear, the golden trail is like a drug. The music is super calming, yet almost eerie sometimes, and the way it matches and changes with the current environment, your speed, and your progress through each level makes what is a seemingly simple soundtrack, very dynamic and technical. One of my favourite features has to be the timers though. The inclusion of level splits and speed running timers, just makes me wanna replay over and over again to get a better time. Brings a whole new competitive aspect to the game instead of the first time relaxing playthrough. Reminds me almost of Celeste with the exploration, slight puzzle feeling, with the emphasis on movement. The music matching with your current emotions and the level is also similar, and ofc the collectables and speed running capabilities.

Having a lot of fun so far! the controls are addicting once you get the sense of the gravity and physics, and im enjoying the difficulty ramp up. Fun little indie game
