Ultionus: A Tale of Petty Revenge

I had a blast playing through this game. It is a short but sweet action-platformer, sprinkeld in are two Shmup-Levels and one "vehicle"-level. It takes a little to get used to the controls, mainly becauce your lady can't walk/run while shooting. But once you adapt to the gameplay-mechanics it works fine. The game has really beautiful pixelated graphics, it has a silly story with a busty woman as the main protagonist. The music is alright and fits the game well and it has a cool end credits song. Because the game can be beaten really fast, it is fun to try it again for a better ending or to get all the achivements or just for fun if you half an hour to burn. Overall I had a short but really good time with it and I maybe I'll play through it again from time to time. So, where is Ultionus 2?

O jogo parece homenagear um outro bem antigo, chamdo Phantis, mas ao mesmo tempo usando gráficos de SNES. Eu gostei bastante dos visuais, e a jogabilidade é simples, fácil de pegar... Porém, acho que ele não dá a impressão de ter muita profundidade, apesar de ter mais de um final... (?) ... Não faço ideia de como conseguir o outro. Parece o tipo de jogo que eu alugaria nos anos 90, e devolveria para nunca mais pegar. Vale pegar numa promoção, ou se você for muito fã do gênero ou curioso para a homenagem (no pun intended).

Really cool. Recommended for people that miss the 16-bit era.

I love this new version the controls are very responsive and the overall game is very good.

Zerei o jogo, apenas por nostalgia pelo jogo no qual foi baseado (o phantis, game original do zx spectrum, que tinha porte pro MSX). Jogo curto, desbalanceado... Como já havia comprado há bastante tempo, resolvi jogar-lo pra passar o tempo no steam deck, mas não recomendo não.
