Boundel - November 16, 2006 Ultimo Reino - April 10, 2009 Ultimo Reino 2 - April 13th 2020 Can someone tell me why the same exact unfinished game is getting released under different titles every few years? I'm clueless or something is lost in translation.
I really wanted to like this game after seeing other reviews but upon creating my character and arriving at the starter town i immediately recognised the assets and layout of my surrounding. This game is basically a fleshed out version of a game I paid money for years ago 'Boundel' I am aware that that previous game went through many changes and updates involving renaming but my time with that game was spent years ago and I do not pay for a game twice especially one that I endured many character and item wipes. If you have never played either Boundel, Boundel2, ultimo reino then by all means grab a copy of Ultimo reino2 and check it out. For me though I remain disappointed. ╔═════════════════════════════════════════════╗ To see more of my reviews please select follow at : https://store.steampowered.com/curator/39887864-3-Month-Heroes/ ╚═════════════════════════════════════════════╝

This is quite possibly the worst MMORPG I have ever played. It's even worse than pre-alphas I've played. The world is pretty much empty. You spend an hour running around looking for anything to do. I grabbed a quest to kill 30 skeletons. I saw that I had 1.5 hours to do it, which seemed nuts. Figured the skeletons were tough or something. Nope, it was so long because good luck finding a skeleton. So... I ran outside to start my skeleton slaying adventure and right out of the gate was a level 120 ice dragon. I ran on.. more 120 ice dragons... in fact, ice dragons were by far the most common enemy. I continued to run all over the map finding a skeleton here and a skeleton there... with maybe 15 seconds left I managed to clear the quest. That's right, 30 monsters killed in 1.5 hours. These monsters are 1-shotted and the fights are almost instant. This means I spent around 30-40 seconds fighting in 1.5 hours. The rest of the time was running around an almost completely empty world. To make matters worse, the terrain is glitched and the world is ugly and boring. You will constantly find yourself getting stuck on small bumps or little rocks. This was one of the worst gaming experiences I have ever had.

As an old school mmo fan of games like Ultima Online and Dark Age of Camelot, I really like this game despite the very rough edges. The game offers what looks to be a big map with lots of towns and villages and tons of monsters to fight. Here's my most recent experience in Ultimo Reino 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jvKaIwjUBs You got crafting, everything from potions to armor and weapons, and cooking too! You a market and if you find a town with a banker, just stand next to him and press the M key to sell your loot or buy from other players. Items you cook or craft will also display your Steam name on the item for others to see, such as "Crafted by Zaxtor99" which i think is cool! There's a LOT of spells and skills to learn and grind up, and it will take forever to max these out too as you only get one spending point every time you level up and you can raise one skill 1 point. Most skills such as the fireball can be raised to 100! Some skills like taming can be raised to 200, so yeah... the grind will be real if you enjoy that lol. To cast a spell, put it on your hot bar first, then use whatever key you bind to it and it will go in the direction your cursor is at. So if you put fireball as you 3 key, press 3 and put your cursor on a mob you want to attack and BAM! Get ready to run and kite! I think it's pretty fun. ** This game is FAR from perfect, so here are my big gripes in my first 4 hours of play: * - The animations are super choppy. I've tried lowering the graphics quality but that made no difference at all. It might be the fact the only server is in Europe and I live in the northwest USA, but it is a little annoying and far from smooth. Zooming out helps and you do kinda get used to it however. - Lack of mobs!! - This one is a killer! I mean if this is going to be an mmorpg with even a dozen players, there NEEDS to be wayyyyy more mobs to kill. With the massive grind I can see this game will be, we need to not have to wander around for 20 minutes at times just looking for a couple of mobs we are confident we can kill. ..This is by far the biggest problem I've seen that the developer needs to address. If this problem isn't addressed soon, mark my words... this game will quickly die! - Graphical glitches galore. It's very rough people. Your bound to see odd effects and graphical oddities while exploring this world. If you expect a perfect and smooth mmo, this game is certainly NOT for you. I confess that this game is rough right now on it's early access launch day. I think I like it because of the nostalgia I feel playing it and feelings of playing games like Ultima Online, Everquest, and Dark Age of Camelot come rushing back to me with this one. If you've never played an MMO before World of Warcraft, chances are high that you'll think I'm high for enjoying this one. But for what it's worth, I think this game is well worth the $5 asking price.. I just wish it had way more mobs because the combat is pretty fun.. for a while anyhow. ;-)
Combat system is absolutely horrible and buggy. Movement is buggy and you get stuck easily moving on uneven terrain. UI cannot be resized. Chat cannot be resized. Game has absolutely no direction except to grind. Quests are useless and boring. The entire game is an endless grind to nothingness. Towns are plagued with monsters that even the guards ingame cannot kill, and god forbid you accidently cast a spell on a low level monster whos next to a level 100000 monsters in a town and you pull aggro and die over and over and over. Spawn in the middle of nowhere and die the same way again. 3/10 -Spell system is unique. -I like the taming system. -unlimited leveling if it had purpose to support a pretty good spell system.
English/Español review English: Well the game is simple. Objectives: -Kill monsters -Do missions. -Kill those who try to steal your monsters to kill. You have free skill tree, so you can arm yourself the character as you like. Developers are constantly looking to check bugs, balance and new content and keep in mind the problems and realistic suggestions. Progress is difficult up to level 200 if you play alone, but it is also the most fun.
I didn't know what to think at first. I disliked it, it wasn't explaining things; but a few minutes spent roaming and a few spent doing what I learned how to do and eventually everything began to click. The game's very open ended. Hope more will pick it up. Large roleplayability. While not very Class-oriented, you can see the general set up. Here's to this game continuing.
Pesimo juego vacio, pude jugar una sola vez y despues nada solo me tiraba error de conexion
