Once upon a time, personal computers were on the rise. In 1995 Windows 95 began its Victory March. And with it a little Game called Solitaire. Little, but hiiiiiiighly addicting. A Card Game from the 18th Century, also known as Patience. With Windows 95 Solitaire got as much popularity as Tetris with the First Game Boy. A Card Game was conquering the World in a patience Way. Welcome to ULTIMATE SOLITAIRE COLLECTION! Over the Years many Varietys of Solitaire Games were created and man Games came to life. Solitaire is one of the most played Games of all Time. That brings us today to ULTIMATE SOLITAIRE COLLECTION! What i can say is, that ULTIMATE SOLITAIRE COLLECTION absolutly deserved it´s Name. Over 300 (!!!) Solitaire Game Variants are installed. I didn´t know that there were so much, that´s truly crazy. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3089039039 Solitaire is a Card Game, where you mostly have to clean up all Cards. Simple, easy to learn, hard to master, what also belongs to the Luck in which Row you get your Cards. ULTIMATE SOLITAIRE COLLECTION has 3 Modes. 1) PLAY SOLITAIRE - Choose on of the over 300 Variants and play it. 2) DAILY CHALLENGE - 5 different Challenges every day. And you can replay all you miss from the Day of Release on. 3) JOURNEY MODE - Here you travel over a Map doing Challenges in Chance of unlocking new Card Designs, Backgrounds and more. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3089038595 There are also a Leaderboard and Achievements for the Hunters. The Graphics feel oldschool, but fit good into today. That goes also for the Sounds. Shortly said: I love it. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3089037688 The Developer did some awesome "Remakes" of many old Games like DOMINATE, HEXXAGON, POKER and many others in the Past. ULTIMATE SOLITAIRE COLLECTION is wonderfull executed and got much, much content for the Price and the Price is worth it, if you love Solitaire as i do. A big Thanks to the Developer for this Masterpiece, full of playing Hours. If you like Solitaire and want to play Variants you never played before, if you like casual Games that will bound you for many hours, then this is for you. I also recommend it to Solitaire Newcomers. Thank you for reading.
You like this Review? You want more? Visit and follow our AWG Curator! You`re always welcome.
🎬Gameplay Video🎬
https://youtu.be/M7LZJBcGtd0
🕹️Gameplay🕹️
Ultimate Solitaire Collection is an assortment of Solitaire games and variants with daily challenges, a journey mode, and the option to play any of the three hundred plus games at your leisure. Personally, I didn’t even know there were so many Solitaire games, so if you enjoy Solitaire then this selection contains all the well-known varieties like Klondike and Freecell, and even some original creations which are exclusive to this set. There are so many different ways to play Solitaire that you could easily sink hundreds of hours into this game. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3085725690 The Daily Challenge option is interesting as it provides set games each day which you can play for points towards earning bronze, silver, or gold trophies. You can go backwards in time and play challenge sets previously featured also, so if three hundred games wasn’t enough there will always be five different games featured daily. The Journey Mode provides a path of different games to play. The only way to continue on the path is to complete the Solitaire game on offer and progress on to the next one. I was expecting a bit more from this mode really, as essentially it is just the same games you can play in the free choice section, so I didn’t really see the point. The only incentive is that there are a few achievements attached for progressing on this path and you can unlock some options to customize your cards. If it would have had a story, cut scenes, or exclusive games, then this section would have been great but otherwise it just seemed a bit redundant. The games vary in difficulty and can be very hard to complete, so if you are stuck on one game there is no way of moving forward. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3085724966 Playing in the free section gives you access to all the games available. If you enjoy tracking your progress the game provides statistics detailing how many games you have won; your best time; fewest moves; win percentage; and your best score. Your total score from all of the games is calculated and is featured on a leader board so you can see how you compare to other players. There is the option to make any of the games your favourite, which sends them to the top of the list for easier access later, and when you select a game, it shows you how the game is going to look by providing a screenshot, which was a nice touch. There are fifty achievements to attempt which are earned from completing certain games, completing games under so many moves, and completing games in a time limit. Game play feels very fluid with the mouse, the cards look really nice, and the sound effects are great also. I absolutely loved the soundtracks associated with the games. The orchestral tunes are incredibly relaxing and the most professional I have ever heard in a card game. Winning games unlocks new options like new backgrounds, card sets, and piles for you to customize the look of the playing arena. Each game comes with its own set of rules which are laid out simply and are easy to understand and there are unlimited undos if you make any mistakes, or want to try out different moves without being penalized.
🍳Conclusion🍳

Ultimate Solitaire Collection really is the ultimate collection if you enjoy playing Solitaire and its variants. The whole package feels very professional and is a joy to play, with many facets to keep you coming back like daily challenges and achievements. The number of games you can play is mind-blowing and will keep you busy for hundreds of hours. Each game seems to be different to the other and I enjoyed playing each variant I tried. If you enjoy playing cards then I would highly recommend this title. edit: the dev also deletes critical feedback from the forum to hide the inadequacies of the game. shameful and not something to support. disappointing and overpriced attempt at a collection of 400+ solitiare variants. they're not listed on the store page, already a sign of laziness, and there's no mid-level saving either. I waited more than a year, gave them the benefit of the doubt, but basic functionality is still 'not a high priority' for this developer. they never added volume settings to their previous card games either, this one at least has that and little else. it's easier to make excuses about other platforms that in no way should mean a subpar pc version, yet here we are. they claim to be 'working on it' but if after a year it still hasn't happened, I call ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. also, while games can be favorited and there's a 'played' and 'won' icon next to each, the games list can't be sorted or filtered, it's as static as it gets besides favorited ones going on top. can't turn off the annoying sparkling effect either. check out the excellent solitaire expeditions instead. the expeditions themselves are similar to this one's journey mode, except they're fully customizable there, and there are half the variants to play anytime for half the price. 180+, still more than enough, all listed on the store page, and a ton of quality of life (sorting the list by various criteria, saving, hints, etc.) from a developer who's actually willing to put in the extra work. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1709180/Solitaire_Expeditions/
I wanted a solitaire game like this for years. It doesnt resemble a mobile game with lives you lose then have to wait ages for them to refill. You dont have levels. There are daily challenges, but they are not vital to the game. You can just chill and play cards
This is a well-done collection of solitaire games with an abundant number of games to choose from (348 at the time of this review). The interface works well enough and the graphics look great with many customization options (most have to be unlocked by playing journey mode). PROS: * Large number of games to choose from * Rules help text is concise, consistent and easy to follow * The different card pile types are color coded for easy differentiation * Graphics and customization are very good * Unlimited undo * Autocomplete option available once a win is assured * Statistics for games played with time and move counts * Devs are very responsive and even take player suggestions for new games to add CONS: * The number of variants can be overwhelming with no good way to search or navigate other than alphabetic list of games * No highlighting of possible moves or hints * No seed codes to replay a particular deal you liked or share with friends NEUTRAL: * Music is decent; can get repetitive but option to turn off
Game Modes
In the regular game mode you select which game you want to play from a list. It tracks statistics (percentage of wins, fastest time and least moves). Each game has icons showing if you've played it, if you've won at least one game, and if it is one of your favorites (you can designate games as favorites to make it easier to find them again). The daily challenges have 5 games added each day where the deal is pre-set and each game is winnable. The games show a difficulty level from casual to hard, which is how difficult the particular deal is (not the game in general). You can retry as many times as you want and go back and play games from previous days. This is a nice way to get exposure to games you may have never played before, and since they are guaranteed winnable is easier than some random deal. Journey mode is a progression of games to play, showing your route on a map. Like the daily challenges, it also is a good way to get exposure to the various games. Unlike the daily challenge, these are random deals for the given game, so you may need to retry a game several times to get a deal that is winnable. Each time you win a game you advance to the next one (which will be a different game with different rules). Each win also rewards you with a new customization unlock (card faces, card backs, background image, etc.). There are 120 games in this mode. There is no story. If you are curious about which games are included, you can find the full list here: https://www.esolutions.se/Solitaire
I've played a number of eSolutions' cardgames before but Ultimate Solitaire Collection is a huge step above their previous work. They've always had tons of variety and friendly UI but have lacked "value add" content. Until now! Loving the campaign and daily challenges! Ultimate Solitaire Collection is eSolution's best work yet. Huge huge huge variety of solitaire games, difficulty options, lovely UI, unlockable aesthetics and even campaign and daily challenge modes! If you're a fan of solitaire like me, this is a must-have for your library. It includes all the solitaire games you’ve played before, as well as new ones you’ve never tried. The Daily Challenges are a fantastic addition, offering only winnable games every day. If solitaire is your game of choice, don’t hesitate—this is the ultimate collection!
This is a diabolical offering from eSolutions. Not content with giving us the Canfield Collection, the Freecell Collection. the Klondike Collection, all with achievements and leaderboards and other competitive things that are usually foreign to Solitaire players - now they have foisted an ULTIMATE Solitaire Collection upon us. I hope that I live long enough to cellect all the trophies. It's brilliant. I debated about spending so much on a single published game but so glad I did. I'm on P2 of Leaderboard but aiming to get higher. Eat my dust. Recommended to the max.
This collection contains over 300 top-notch solitaire game variations, providing an extensive array for enthusiasts to explore. With this awesome selection are daily challenges, adding a delightful trackable element. The convenience of being able to play a quick session each day is a nice feature. Considering the sheer amount of content included, the pricing is pretty reasonable.
Reliably interesting for a quick game now and then.
