buggy, just play the first game. Way more fun.
good. we had fun with this. but the first game is better. i know i know they are very different but this should've had some more like, stuff. ya know?
Buggy mess with far less content than UCH
It's, sadly, incomplete and boring. I REALLY wanted to like it and support it, after Ultimate Chicken Horse, you wouldn't expect the same team to miss the mark of their own previous game so hard. While comparison is the thief of joy, you need no comparisons to understand how this game should be in the design phase for at least an extra year. It has cool mechanics and good gameplay, but there is no focus on what the game wants it to be. As a sequel, you expect it to have the same level of chaos and stupid fun, but this one has a laid-back gameplay, it only focuses on who reaches the line first. At the same time, if you build a complex track, the timer leaves you no time for completing it. The perk system felt just like borrowing a mechanic from the current popular genre (roguelites / pick 1 of 3 deckbuilders), but it's very unbalanced, and you feel like upgrading in the same way every time. There are very few levels, and those feel even less unique. The level building is the biggest letdown, it seems like 9/10 items are made to make the track easier, never to make it harder. One of the key and underrated aspects of the first game is how each round gave you opportunities to build, destroy, and modify paths. So, depending on the current ranking, you have a bit of strategy involved in your next pick. This never happens here, it's very hard to flesh out a challenging level before someone wins or the round limit kicks in. It's so tuned down, you can even come back after dying. At the end, it feels uninspired, which is such a disappointing feeling to have, because everything is more well animated and well presented.
i fear this game has the sauce
I like the game actually. But it's so damn buggy. Every play session my friends and I experience multiple races losing bugs. Wtf. How have they not fixed it by now?
There are many things that could be implemented to make it more dynamic and fun, along with game modes and other features. Some power-ups make no sense, and you can literally skip the entire map. Perhaps adding player collision between players could make it more enjoyable? The 32:9 support has many bugs too. In its current state, it's okay, but it's not fun, and it makes us prefer playing other games, even Ultimate Chicken Horse, instead of this one. Sorry, I'm going to downvote it until I see them fix things.
so ein dreckiges kek spiel
Nice and funny game! It has a few bugs that need to be fixed, but nothing that takes away from the fun. Would definitely recommend!
It's fun, but in the same way The Room or Trolls 2 is. I'm pretty sure they never tested it.
