Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It is undoubtedly a good game, but I don't enjoy playing it because it is available only in English. Consequently, I am currently translating it into Spanish for the Spanish-speaking community—which is large but refrains from playing the game for this very reason. Once finished, the translation will be posted on the game's official forum. Quite simply, this feels like a snub to our Spanish and Latin American communities.

It was an interesting experience, the ship combat was never going to match up with the land combat, there is no command and control, just a bunch of individual ships doing individual things, at least thats how I played it. Not too much for me to note about it, I dont read much naval history but I know this is probably not how admirals fought. Its enjoyable enough but I found myself hoping a land battle would come up for me to play rather then another naval mission. There are a lot of ships to purchase or capture, which can be a boon and a a bit of a drawback. You may feel overwhelmed at the amount of ships there are to choose from and how their stats compare, I personally never paid much attention. There is a conversation over whether "unit variety" matters in a strategy game. Oh but also there is a lot of customization you can do to the ships. Make it more of a close quarters boarding vessel or a long ranged duelist. I am sure there is a cheesy ship formula too use to win all the battles but I wasnt ever that invested in the game to figure that out. The developers were working on sub units and officers which was very promising, all officers had a sheet of traits, some were higher then others and would affect the performance of a unit, more accuracy or stamina, etc. Was still a little half baked but it was an interesting road to go along. The sub unit officers were a very welcome addition as well, just a little more depth to units. The land battles here are smaller in scale considering the maritime nature of the game, you are dropping off small battalions of at most 300ish infantry accompanied by your own marines and sailors. So the battles will at most be maybe 3,000 men on the field. I did prefer the smaller battles in the American Civil war game compared to the multi corps slugfest lateer on ingame. Here however the units are so small it can be a bit of a struggle to field proper firing lines, it can look a little goofy. It is also a lightly interesting logistical development of trying to fit your units onto your transports. Do you skimp out on the supply train to take on a hundred more skirmishers and whatnot? Th battle ai was alright, a little too many fights where it felt like a horde defense however. It still had the miserable unit tree perks from the American Civil war title which I always thought was weird, min maxxing a british battalion to be better at running then their peers was a little strange too me. I think this was a sign of their perhaps over confidence. They were not ready to take on ship battles and they certainly were not ready to take on total war campaign style game their next game would provide, despite the spirited attempt. Oh also, not worth 30 dollars.
Well done combat sailing
fun and good
This game gives a fun representation of both land and naval combat - sometimes both in one battle. The campaign is very light, it just provides a way to string the battles together in a series. Upgrading your forces between battles is also fun because you are given many different choices. Definitely worthwhile if you're into historical tactical wargames.
