There are two eras of human history: the time before I played Ukrainian Ball in Search of Gas, and the time after I played it. Before, I was a normal person—by which I mean I was trapped in a labyrinth of overthinking, mild procrastination, and the quiet dread of unrealized potential. I would stare at assignments like they were ancient tablets written in a dead language. I believed, sincerely, that if I simply thought hard enough, long enough, I could pre-solve my entire life before acting. Then I witnessed a ball roll forward in search of gas. No fanfare. No montage. No inspirational speech swelling in the background. Just motion. Relentless, almost disrespectful motion in the face of complexity. And something in me—something ancient, something dormant, something that had been waiting for permission—snapped into place. The next morning, I woke up different. Not metaphorically. Structurally. I had emails I’d been avoiding for weeks. I answered them in six minutes. I had an assignment I’d been “thinking about starting” for three days. I completed it before my coffee cooled. I stopped narrating my life as a series of impending obligations and started treating it as a sequence of moves. Not perfect moves. Not even optimal moves. Just… moves. This alone would have been enough to call it a turning point. It did not stop there. Within weeks, the effects began to compound in a way that can only be described as mathematically irresponsible. Every action generated another opportunity, which generated another action, which generated what I can only describe as a cascading avalanche of competence. Tasks that once intimidated me now folded instantly under pressure. I became the man I have always wanted to be; and that man played Ukrainian ball in search of gas every free moment of my life. Financially, things escalated at a pace that would make a hedge fund manager uncomfortable. What began as finishing projects turned into starting them. What began as starting them turned into scaling them. I found myself accidentally creating income streams—plural. Money, which had once been a somewhat abstract concern, became something I interacted with directly and frequently, like a recurring character who had suddenly decided I was important. At some point—there is no clean moment, no ceremonial threshold—I realized I had made more money than I had ever seriously planned to. I did not celebrate. I nodded once, internally, and moved on to the next task. This is what the ball would have wanted. Simultaneously, my physical form underwent what can only be described as a narrative upgrade. Previously, my relationship with fitness had been casual, inconsistent, and built largely on intention rather than action. But the philosophy of the ball does not permit intention without execution. There is no “thinking about going to the gym.” There is only going. And bringing my Steam Deck to play Ukrainian ball in search of gas. So I went. Repeatedly. Aggressively. With a kind of quiet, mechanical inevitability. Days became weeks. Weeks became visible results. At some point, mirrors started telling a different story than they had before. Strength increased. Definition appeared. I developed the kind of physical presence that causes people to say things like “Have you been working out?” in a tone that suggests they already know the answer. I did not explain. The ball does not explain. I won my first, second, and eighth body-building competition within the month. Socially, the transformation was even more disorienting. Confidence, it turns out, is not something you manufacture—it is something that emerges when your actions consistently validate your intentions. I began speaking differently. Moving differently. Listening, even, with a level of focus that suggested I was no longer waiting for my turn to talk, but actually engaged. This had consequences. Invitations began to appear. First small—gatherings, events, spaces adjacent to influence. Then larger—formal dinners, rooms filled with people whose time is expensive and whose attention is selective. At one point, I found myself seated at a multinational dinner, discussing things I would have previously Googled under the table. I did not Google. I contributed. Calmly. Directly. No one questioned my presence. This was perhaps the most unsettling part. And then there was my personal life. It is difficult to describe this without sounding fictional, but by this point, fiction had largely given up trying to compete with my reality. The same forward momentum that restructured my habits and opportunities extended into my relationships. I was no longer approaching people from a place of uncertainty or self-doubt, but from alignment. I knew who I was, what I was doing, and where I was going—not in abstract terms, but in lived behavior. The result was a relationship that, in any previous version of my life, I would have classified as statistically improbable. She was accomplished, poised, and, yes, objectively stunning in a way that tends to disrupt room dynamics. And yet, within the new logic of my life, this was not an anomaly. It was a continuation. We did not “meet cute.” We met efficiently. Through all of this, I maintained a strict adherence to the core principle: do not stop moving. Because that is the real lesson of Ukrainian ball in search of gas. It is not about success, or wealth, or physical transformation, or social ascension. Those are side effects—dramatic, undeniable side effects—but they are not the point. The point is motion. Before, I was potential energy—stored, theoretical, impressive only in concept. After, I became kinetic. Active. Engaged in a continuous process of iteration and execution. The world did not change. I did. And in doing so, I forced the world to respond. Is it absurd that all of this traces back to a ball rolling in search of gas? Absolutely. Is it also completely, undeniably true? Also yes. I do not claim to understand why it worked. I only claim that it did. And tomorrow, like every day since, I will wake up, identify the next move, and make it. After playing some Ukrainian ball in search of gas. The ball is still rolling. So am I.

Ukrainian ball in search of gas
Addictive gameplay loop that keeps bringing me back.
in the grand finale the Ukrainian ball gets forcibly conscripted by the UAF, and then has their balls exploded by a shahed in Donbas

once upon a time, i was gooning around on steam and that is when i found this game when i clicked on this game, i did not expect much little did i know, this half a euro game would change my life and how i see balls i clicked play, changed my graphics, and my resolution and the moment i clicked play, i saw it. the beautiful terrain, beautiful graphics and most importantly, the very detailed ball, detailed perfectly down to every pixel on my lcd screen this game encouraged me to learn ukranian and enlist in the ukranian army to fight against russia i rolled around happily, finding gas can after gas can after gas can but then i saw the trees moving on their own which really shows how alive nature can be another star for introducing a whole new game perspective, 3d but its a 2d platformer my friend also reported a floating cut-down tree and for that this game deserves another star because it is making very very good predictions on how the world we live on is going to look in exactly 47 years 7 months 18 days 7 hours 36 minutes and 58 seconds this game also proves that you dont need a nasa super computer to play games even if this game is bad to some, to others its still a gift and a way to change their lives and their perspective on balls 10/10 game would highly recommend for anyone that is too broke to afford therapy and just everyone in general
