Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 14 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

What a slog. I'm a fan of Obsidian's other CRPGs, so I forced myself to give this one several chances, but I wasn't able to finish it once. It's incredible how they managed to make such an interesting premise (being a high ranking official for the bad guys, whose leader is kinda hot, ngl) so boring.

Very good game Variative playthourgh, tons of dialogs filled with game lore, solid crafting spells experience, great music and performance
Good; 7/10. Ever wanted to be evil in an RPG? Tyranny has you covered from the very beginning. A great 'starter' RPG with choices that matter, a decent reputation system, and companions you'll grow to enjoy, it tells a tale of personal growth and political intrigue in equal parts. Its setting - unexpectedly so - ends up fairly fascinating, and with player-friendly dialogue that isn't overly bloated with meaningless 'fantasy' words that let the mind wander. Combat occurs in real-time but with pausing available, and therein lies one of the game's truest gems; its 'spellmixing' magic system, which was a joy to interact with. However, the game ends up feeling too small for the grandness of the story it sets up, ending on quite the cliffhanger. It remains great for what it is, however.
★★★☆☆½ Finally, a CRPG where being evil isn’t just an option—it’s the whole point. Coming from the makers of Pillars of Eternity, I expected Tyranny to be a solid CRPG experience—and I wasn’t disappointed. The premise is fantastic: you’re not the scrappy underdog for once—you’re the herald, general, and judge for an almost omnipotent force hellbent on conquering the world. His/her? generals are near-godlike themselves, and you can choose to work with them, betray them, or carve out your own path. It was a blast to roleplay as a true badass. Unlike most RPGs where the "evil path" feels like an afterthought, Tyranny puts it front and center, and it’s incredibly refreshing. It stacks up surprisingly well alongside games like Baldur’s Gate and Planescape: Torment—high praise—and honestly, I wish the developers would make a sequel. I’d love to meet my lord, nemesis, god... whatever she/he actually turns out to be. The gameplay and combat are a lot of fun, and there are some really clever mechanics. One highlight is the spellcrafting system, which lets you create and tweak your own spells—definitely recommend playing a spellcaster your first time through. Melee builds are perfectly viable too, but the magic system is where the game really shines. That said, there are some balancing quirks. Certain stats are just way more valuable than others, no matter what kind of character you’re building, and the skill progression system (where skills level up through use) is unique but rewards a bit of early-game min/maxing if you’re into that sort of thing. Conquer first, ask questions later. The story is great overall, but some of the choices you make can feel a little less fleshed out than they should be—especially compared to the depth of the worldbuilding and premise. All in all, if you like CRPGs and have even a little bit of a dark side, Tyranny is absolutely worth your time.
That was very enjoyable. Nomen est Omen, it truly is a tyrannical world, and its gonna be impossible to please everyone. Fleshed out world/lore, a good amount of impactful choices, great writing for the most part, interesting character development, in story aswell as in game mechanics, good battle and class system. Replayability seems to be there too, I just finished my first playthrough and Im already itching to start a new character and find out what options the other paths provide. Theres some control/interaction jank, sometimes infuriating pathfinding, occasionally some random black bars popping up at the edge of the screen, else a smooth experience. If you like Baldurs Gate, Pillars of Eternity, etc., dont miss out.
