Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Unlosable :-( Saw this game featured in Lets game it out, and being a very fast typer (average ~700 char/min for normal text), I felt immediately challenged. Unfortunately, at some point, the difficulty does not ramp up anymore/infinately (as it should normally with these types of games), so anybody good enough on the keyboard can play this infinately. Played it until score > 500.000, then got bored. Shame, it could have been a nice challenge/competition for max scores, if the difficulty would just keep ramping up infinately, or some other ways to progress. Still, a very fun concept, and since its almost for free, no way to complain! Shout out to Josh and Anthony for the as always funny video.

I already had a negative review ready to be posted but I decided to give it another chance and I'm kinda glad I did. Not because this is a great game (it is not) but to protect my cred as a gamer in front of myself. You see, in my original review I'd slammed it for being too difficult. But that was just me misunderstanding the design. You have to use the (expensive) action-powerups to survive the midgame but I insisted to rely solely on my typing skills (and failed). So if you use a Bomb around Wave 15 and then some Slows in the following waves to slow down the camel charges, you should be fine. Don't worry about taking some castle damage, it's cheap to fix it later on. Getting to Wave 75 for the final achievement involves a session of maybe around half an hour, which isn't too bad. Sadly, the game has the "Profile Features Limited" Steam debuff which prevents its achievements from impacting your totals. And since that debuff is not gone after what looks like two years on Steam, I don't think it's going away anytime soon either. I'm a bit ruffled by Type Defense claiming to be the "WORLD'S BEST TYPING GAME EVER !" in the video teaser, as it's actually the least-good one I've played so far. But at this self-consciously low price I'm willing to turn a blind eye to its mediocrity.
I would like to improve my typing speed, so i tried this game. I like the idea, but it get too difficult too fast, so it's not fun. See my Let's Play at https://peertube.social/videos/watch/0eb99d47-c768-4783-9ef1-08bee1bcd4a6
You get what you pay for. If you're already good at typing, the game gets boring quite quickly - after the initial ramp up, the difficulty stays there for the rest of the game (at least, it does until wave 110+, which is when I gave up). Once you get to a certain point, you're rolling with gold and Last Defense is just a barrier in your efforts to lose. Conversely, if you're trying improve your typing, this isn't the game to do that either, since the aforementioned ramp up happens quickly and harshly. The upgrades are boring, and I only ever used them by accident. I know it's quite the cheap game, but it could do with a few more ways to spend your gold, even if it's just a money sink to make your castle look better (then players might not notice that the gold number spills over once it accumulates past a certain amount). Some bare-bones QOL improvements like the ability to skip the waiting time between waves (God knows there's nothing else to do during that time - if you're already waiting 10+ seconds, you don't need to repair your castle) and unifying the font choices could be some quick fixes to improve the game and make it seem more polished. Maybe add a difficulty selection, decrease the rate that the difficulty goes up (unless you select Hard from the get go), and allow the difficulty to continually increase, which could be allayed with more creative upgrades/weapons. Not a good game, but also not a terrible game. Unfortunately, I've played free online flash games that have executed this concept better. *elephant trumpet* *elephant trumpet* *elelelelelephant trumpet*
Type, kill, pass the time :D
it's a fun concept and decent for the price. Good music and aeshetics. Difficulty could do with being tweaked as on my second game I tried upgrading my castle and nothing managed to make it through at all. I quit at level 61 because it didn't feel like it was going to get harder, I hadn't even had to use the bomb or time slow ability. The first few levels actually feel like the hardest because there are more enemies. Later levels just have larger words and fewer enemies, which feels much easier
not what i expected but it was funny and enjoyble for a less $1 game
por ese precio... tampoco lo recomiendo.
