Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Sep 7 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Nitrome Must Die!!!!!!!!! Nitrome 必须死!!!!!!!!!!
Dear Nitrome I have been playing all of your games since I was little, from Twin Shot to Cave Chaos to Chiseled to Nitrome Must Die. The level of quality and polish in your games has always been immaculate, and I have always admired the work and personality that goes into each and all of them - Design (10/10) The pixel art has seen a very nice revamp overall, the original designs from past games were already nice and charming but the new story screens as well as newer animations bring these silly angel cats and the demons back to a newer life, with minor animation enhancements and colour palette changes that make them feel more alive than ever. The new enemy designs for Atlantis fit the overall feel of this new remaster while also fitting in the overall aesthetic of the series, and feel in place - Gameplay (8/10) The older levels were already perfectly and expertly designed for user interaction, and the new ones follow on the steps of older designs to create a similar experience that I enjoyed as well, though it was sad seeing some really good original levels replaced in the remaster treatment, but I understand why it was done. There are some changes from the original game that I feel were both a success and slightly questionable. I think one of my small gripes must be the mechanical change to the heart arrow that might as well be a new powerup altogether, I really wish it was kept as a new powerup and for the old heart arrow to be reworked to have a similar functionality but balanced around, maybe only propagating hearts to one another enemy instead of multiple or making enemies still be able to hit you as they are charmed before exploding, in general, one or two more powerups would've been appreciated. Oh, and, the mini-powerup... it shouldn't be timed based, having a higher jump is really useful. I'm also confused about Atlantis lvl 17 (I think it is) which seems like the only level in the remaster to feature the blue blob appearing and disappearing enemy that also appears in the cover for Twin Shot 2, first of all... it's really silly that you haven't used such a dynamic enemy in levels more for the remaster, I really missed it. Second of all, its appearance in that level specifically is devious hahahaaha. Because of the nature of the pixel art for the water, that creature is pretty much camouflaged and it becomes a game of spotting where it is before being able to attack it, it does make me wonder about the accessibility decisions of that level's design, where I would like a similar concept to be tackled but without messing with colours, though I understand why it is the way it is and it genuinely challenged me in a way the entirety of the game hadn't until that point. Talking more about Atlantis, I feel the pufferfish enemies and the water cloud are greatly underutilized, and could lend for some interesting level designs where you are trying to push enemies around or where you have to be careful how you hit them as to not push yourself away, maybe even using the water cloud as a safety net, the water can wrap around and heal you as you are attacked with poison, just, generally, doing more things with the water mechanic that is a great focus for this world, electrifying the water with electric type enemies or allowing water to cancel out fire attacks would've also added to the elemental approach of design, just, some things to take into consideration. I will say, the aforementioned poison mechanic and the fish enemies who have to be deprived of water do add a level of complexity I would've liked to see a little bit more of, maybe as, hopefully, new updates roll around or a new game entirely for the series, I have bought this game as Nitrome is a company I wish to support with all my heart. One last thing, the bosses... they are not disappointing, don't get me wrong, but they can fail to stand out difficulty wise from the rest of the levels, they are quick to defeat and often will focus on only doing one attack instead of multiple. I was never damaged by the first world's boss and sometimes, for the rest of them, it really felt like I was waiting for an attack to end instead of multiple attacks coming out and them feeling more dynamic, they could use a slight speed up and maybe 5 hits instead of 3. Oh, and maybe adding enemies to defeat as you navigate your way back to the boss' weak point. Music (8/10) Astounding soundtrack, Making each of the world have their own music is a very natural idea and the new soundtrack does fit in with the rest of the game, I would maybe say the 2nd world's music is a little bit weaker overall, as it lacks that firm motif the original one came in with, but its still an enjoyable and atmospheric track. Speaking of which, the music for the new Atlantis world is great too and it fits the setting perfectly. Main Menu is still very iconic as well Two gripes I have, one is going back to the bosses, where, it would've been nice to have a specific song for those areas to make them feel more distinct, this definitely elevated the stakes for the bosses back in Skywire, so I would've liked to see a similar treatment. And the other one, is just, some of the music may feel a little awkward when looping, I would say Hades and Atlantis are the biggest culprits here, specially the later one, I think some tuning can allow them to feel more natural in that regard. Still, amazing soundtrack I even listen outside of the game! Story (6/10) Not much to say here, because, it's not as relevant to the game to have a deep story and you understand that, the first 3 worlds have a cohesive story that goes from the sky cities being attacked to an attack of their own back in hell. But... what about Atlantis? We don't get an explanation other than "evil is brewing in the ocean's depth", it is definitely an interesting location to go to and presents itself for some engaging design ideas but I wish we could've tied it back to the main story in a more cohesive way Options and misc (8/10) Has been mentioned before, 4 player keyboard multiplayer, online options and keyboard mapping would've greatly allowed more people to play this game with their friends, specially online since we currently live in a world where people are making online friends more than ever, being able to play with them in that more simple way would allow the game to reach a greater audience, as is, Steam or Parsec provide a decent solution, but I want this to be considered for future updates or games altogether Overall (8/10) I'm REALLY happy to see my little angel cats back and I want to see a lot more of them in the future, this is a great game to just spend time with every now and then and try to unlock everything and see what's there to offer, maybe even an infinite-oriented design with the random mode where you have a set amount of hearts (10 for instance) and have to see how far you can make it before fully dying (where hearts don't recover after completing a level), or a nuzlocke where you choose your powerups and finish your run once you've used all of them, interesting ideas to give replayability to both single and multiplayer. As it stands, the game is great, it captures the essence of the original, oozes with charm, love and care I can't wait to see what the future has to offer for Nitrome, and I hope people pay more attention to them And, one last thing, I understand the line "Relive your childhood", I know a lot of use are already avid Nitrome fans, but, I feel like a lot of us now love you guys not only because you were part of our childhood, but because we admire your game design and dedication. I wanna say, you're a lot more than you are selling you to be, I would like to see a different approach to the marketing of these games that feels more confident about what it is, instead of what it was All of that to say, THANK YOU NITROME! Can't wait to play more <3
Very fun. A really good game to play with your children as more players are always helpful since the difficulty doesn't scale up with more players.
