Twin Breaker: A Sacred Symbols Adventure

This is a fun game for what it is. There are a bunch of different modes, and the level of difficulty varies between stages, so you're not furious at the game by the end of it. The initial story setup is a bit of a slog, but it's necessary to get to where it wants to be. After that, the story beats are well spaced and don't keep out of the action for very long. Getting the best scores on a given stage is almost entirely determined by RNG, but for the most part, that's just how these kinds of games go. I played the whole thing on my Steam Deck OLED, and it felt like the perfect place for it.

It's a more complicated version of Breakout with a weird story...which is cool in my book. It's not revolutionary, but I enjoyed it.

Didn't really like the twin paddle mechanic, which is unfortunate because that is the core mechanic & kind of the whole point of the game.

It is what it is - Breakout. It starts off fairly safe, but eventually adds its own spin to the concept. Works great on Steam Deck, so maybe worth picking up in a sale. Story is ok but whatever, game-play is interesting and fun but 4 paddle levels are way too much, looks great for a pixel game, all you need is metal ball to win every level

Good game, but I get so stressed trying to control 4 paddle thingers at a time. With that said, I was able to beat it fine -- some stages just took a few tries.
