The game is TS on steroids. It's fast paced and super competitive. All the pleasure of TS in hard-fought 20 minutes battles!
Digital Implementation of the Lunchtime Games version of Twilight Struggle. Good if you need a hit of the Cold War but don't want to sit down for 2 hours. Also interesting to learn more about the history of East Africa and about the Ogaden War. Overall, I think I still prefer the Original Twilight Struggle, and this digital implementation is admittedly a bit buggy but overall game good.
Superb implementation of the board game. Tight AI. The Twilight Struggle feel in a fraction of the time.
After the latest patch most bugs have been squashed. It's now in a recommendable state but there are still a few issues that hopefully will be addressed in the next update. All cards now seem to work as intended at least. The game itself is a brilliant condensation of it's big brother. It's really nice being able to play the 3 turn variant quickly without sorting cards between two different games.
Great Quick educational....have to suspend disbelief that the Superpowers would go to Nuclear war over Somalia.
The way of life
The AI slowed down as the game went on, was unable to finish. Disappointing given the work done on the original game, which is much more complex.
