As of right now, this game clearly needs a lot of work to be done, but has a lot of potential at the same time. My main complaints are, the UI/UX is a bit... lacking. There is no sound. Some tactile sounds for hovering over things, a basic soundtrack, sounds that fit the stage of development of your show/script would be nice. You cant take loans? Its very easy to run out of money. You have no idea whats good or bad for your show when selecting Dimensions. An auto generator for the making of characters would be nice. I'd recommend taking inspiration from other tycoon games with the actual appearance of your... studio. Upgrades for it, have it expand as you get bigger, etc. I know your location and the looks of the people aren't so much the focus of this game but, it... could use some improvement. I'm going to leave it as a "Yes recommended... but" for now. As long as this game gets some love and work, I can see the diamond in the rough.
This game is not good and I don't even know where to start. QOL is really bad, I had to go looking what to do and where every step of the way, nothing in the UI make intuitive sense. Then, once of the first thing you do is hire some people. There is a filter but if you click on someone and go back you have to select and apply filter all over again, like every setting you have to do again. If somehow you've managed to create a show and you've succeeded in having money left. I haven't figured out how to make money, even though my first show had a 7.5 rating I still lost a whole lot of money. If you make a new show you'll have to go through all the trouble again... But if you make a second season, there no difference! You still have to select a director, writer and composer (you can't just hire the previous one automatically and do you need a new composer for a sitcom for example? Just use the same song and a laugh track). And you have to hire (new) actors for the same roles!? Why doesn't it automatically select the actors from season one? None of this stuff makes any sense. This is like the first beta draft of an idea for a game. Like version 0.1 or something. Ridiculous.
I didn't expect this small game to have deep mechanics! In-game show reviews feel quite real, definitely gives the feeling of a living world. It's hard to understand the game at first since it has so many choices, which can make you feel overwhelmed a bit especially if you haven't played this type of a game before, but once you get the grasp of it I'd say it's worth the struggle. UI needs a lot of work but this is a decent game and it has the potential to be better.
I rate this game up but with a fair warning: This game has an insanely steep learning curve, to the point it is more real world simulation than simple tycoon game. Don't get this thinking it's going to be like other such games as "The Movies" which is more tycoon than simulator. Be prepared to take some serious time to learn the ropes before getting to a point where you can enjoy it for what it is. The game IS decent, but that learning curve time is something you need to plan around if you want to really understand what you are doing and be a success.
The game is really good, but it definitely needs a lot of improvements. First, it's impossible to make money with zero reputation points. Second, the hiring section is a mess. It would be great to have separate folders for writers, actors, and other departments. Having everything in a single folder is very confusing. Hope the makers don't give up in the middle and abandon the game and develop this. Also i would like to make movies too.
Can not recommend it for now. The lists are tedious. You have created one Role for example a male role for your movie. You click Cast and you get a list of ALL possible employees... be it Writers, Musicians and so on, also female actresses. You have to search, after you find one and check its salary you negotiate maybe it fails and you go back to the list, which is unsorted again. It is no fun sadly. Since this is one of the first things you need to do and it already is not fun, I asked for a refund not going to check out if there is more to it. The concept of the game is good but the quality of life features for creating a show are completely missing. Not recommending it at its current state.
WHAT A JOKE --->>> $7.99 <<<----NO IN ANY COUNTRY
$2.99 at best
Pros
It is a great substitute for Ambien®
Cons
Great idea, relying on too much of the end user, along with many other issues. Cute idea, needs to be developed into a game. A game should not feel like real life work. Sadly.... is worse than real life work.
Its actually fun and addicting. I like it
It's not a bad game. I hope the dev continues updating ngl, just please don't expect an absolute great product when the game just launched.
No updates in well over a year, incredibly bare bones. Your money is better spent elsewhere
