très bon jeux 10/10
Most mainstream games are designed for mass appeal, zero friction and some brainless fun. Nothing wrong with that, but you'll probably forget about them soon after being done with them. Tunic is not like that. It's challenging, opaque, potentially frustrating at times. But if you're willing to trust it, it will take you on one of the most incredible journeys on the history of videogames. 10/10

very bad game design, one of the worst game i ever played
Calificación en resumen: Jodidamente recomendado man.
This game is made specifically against people like me. I am directionally challenged and specifically play isometric games because moving backgrounds make me want to barf. This game has several areas that don't even have the vague overworld map and I wasted so much time backtracking back and forth because I could not figure out the one little thing I was supposed to notice so I could leave the area. And all the boss fights have spinning backgrounds. Ended up giving up right before the end. Tried to look at a guide instead for all the pages and faries and at some point I just had to cut my losses and stop because trying press 50 buttons in a precise order not knowing where I am messing up for the fifth time in a row is not fun anymore.
Quick Description: -Tunic is a beautiful action adventure game heavily inspired by the Legend of Zelda. Death's Door is probably the the most similar modern Indie game by comparison, although I do think that Tunic is better in most ways. This game looks gorgeous visually, has a stellar soundtrack, and has some of the most creative exploration and secret hunting ever implemented. Slowly finding pages of the manual to learn all of the mechanics of the game is brilliant and is the star of the show. Occasionally, I would accidentally figure out a mechanic that would be crucial to the game moving forward, which is incredibly rewarding. This is truly a special game! Consensus: -Excellent Game (Tie 2 and makes up 25% of my reviews). The reason that I didn't give Tunic my highest score is b/c of how frustrating a few of the late game choices are. I will never understand why devs insist upon a late game mechanic that temporarily takes away all of your stats. I don't know if I've ever met anyone that thinks this is fun, interesting, or compelling. While figuring out everything through discovery or through finding the manual pages is extremely rewarding, the flip side to that is that it is incredibly frustrating when you accidentally miss a page or two. This game is one of a kind, but it is not for everyone. It's also on the shorter side (10-15 hrs for a non completionist playthrough). Fans of Link's Awakening will absolutely love this game!

It's just one step away from entering my personal hall of fame of complete masterpices. If only it delivered more on the
emotional / story
side it would be absolutely perfect. A shame, but it's still an extrodinary, great game. If you want to be surprised and challenged in a non-standard way, and/or looking for a specimen of the rare metroidbrania genre, this is it 100%.
Very good game, deserves to be called a metroidbrainia, lovely style of both in game graphics and manual, good music, overall great experience
