Truck Parking Simulator VR is a fully interactive, realistic and immersive parking experience. But also an open world where you can deliver goods by truck. The game has one of the best truck physics simulations in VR.
Experienced on the HP Reverb G2 using the Oasis Driver for Windows Mixed Reality
You can view my gameplay & early impressions here: https://youtu.be/Q735ukaYFdY I only know of 3 (proper) trucking games in VR: American Truck Simulator / Euro Truck Simulator, Mudrunner VR, and this game. Truck Parking Simulator VR would be the worst of the 3. The visuals are bad. The driving mechanics are just okay. Nothing stands out about this experience. However, it's budget priced. It's got a nice challenge to it, being focused on parking. This challenge will definitely separate the chaff from the wheat. I had dreams of maybe being a CDL driver and trucking all across America. This game destroyed that dream for me and brought me back to reality. There's a reason why I'm a lawyer. I could barely pass the tutorial and totally flunked out on the first level. I just don't have the patience for it. It seems every move led to some kind of disaster. Left or right, slight movement or big movement, it just didn't matter for my skill level. Since I didn't get very far, I only have early impressions so take my review score with a grain of salt. However, I'm pretty sure this game is at no point better than ATS or ETS. Game is running on the Unity Engine. On my RTX 5090, I was getting a steady 90 fps with all settings on high. You do have full locomotion or teleportation available, along with smooth or snap turning. However, the smooth turn is too slow. You can play comfortably seated. Rate 5/10. Others may enjoy it more than I did.
I bought this game! Mini version of ATS built for VR. Simple gameplay loop of pickup and drop off trailers for cash to buy more trucks. There are "missions" also but I have no interest in that part just the open world. The physics break sometimes and trailers look like they are trying to play goat simulator so that needs to be fixed, you have to reload the map. The steering may take a bit of getting used to but it's nice to be able to steer without a physical wheel. The traffic is pretty dumb too so watch out, they don't care if a big truck is coming or not. Overall not a bad experience but not super polished either and needs lots of fixes. Will recommend if on sale 50% but not full price.
It's not terrible but if you're expecting a polished experience free of bugs i would skip this. the controls are jittery and honestly dont work well for driving. a lot of this is backing and having no idea where your hand is while looking back and around and trying to steer is basically impossible. your wheel will go all over the place. the traffic is very jittery as is anything you try to interact with while moving. but it does give you the feeling of driving a truck, just barely. this may sound like a negative review but i give it a thumbs up for the attempt and if you go in expecting these things, you can have a fun experience with it. (i did receive this product for free but it in no way impacts this review. I would have bought it anyway)
The game is pretty good. Especially since it has a decent open world and you don't only have parking missions. It still needs improvements, it's not a perfect game, but for an indie game it's good. Some achievements would be added.
I loaded this up as I would any other VR game I purchased on Steam... and it just flat out doesnt work. Going into the discussions indicate it'll be "Fixed in the next update" so check there to see if this game is even playable at that time. I'm all for early access titles that label themselves as much... but when they don't I'll also be the first one to yell "SCAMMMM" to warn others and then refund it
Good concept overall, but the way the trucks handle, The AI and the steering is garbage, its like you're driving on ice all the time, Not worth the money
oyun vr den oynanmıyor klawye mausden oynanıyyor
Unplayable.
unplayable play some other trucking game then this
Concept itself is pretty good, but the game still needs improvements. The steering and way you grip the steering wheel need big improvements. The interior of the trucks are decent, but still need some polishing and the trucks randomly decide to fly when you want to raise the trailer supports.
