First of all, I was pleasantly surprised that the Steam version is priced at 20 euro, while the console version costs 40. With the launch discount, I ended up paying just 15.99 euro. Secondly, as a fan of more arcade-oriented games, I really enjoyed the relaxing driving experience. The game is easy to pick up and doesn't demand too much from the player, which is a positive in my book (I used Xbox controller). The story works well enough, but unfortunately there are some important moments where the chosen voice actors simply fail to deliver the emotional impact the scenes are aiming for. Another downside is the traffic AI, which behaves oddly at times and accelerates extremely slowly at intersections and traffic lights. Visually, the game is decent. Unfortunately, it's one of those titles that looks quite impressive on Epic settings, but suffers a significant drop in overall visual quality when the settings are lowered even slightly. As a result, I often had to choose between targeting 30 FPS with the best visuals or accepting noticeably downgraded graphics in exchange for a higher frame rate. I haven't played the Freedom-to-Roam mode yet, and I noticed there's also a Christmas mission that I plan to try later on.. Overall, we're talking about a fairly straightforward and unpretentious truck-driving game that I personally found relaxing and enjoyable. It's a title I would recommend primarily to players who prefer a more arcade-oriented experience.

Je me faisait un plaisir de l'acheter après avoir joue a la démo mais aujourd'hui , après l'avoir installe je n'est absolument rien compris , tout a change , rempli de bugs et surtout , les graphismes sont granuleux , c'est horrible . Je suis sur une rtx 4090 avec un i9 qui tourne en général exceptionnellement bien sur tous les autres jeux. C'est bien dommage car il avait l'air d'être bien et surtout avec ue5.4.1. Quel bâclage et surtout quel gâchis. Si dans quelques temps ils sortent une mise a jour et que les commentaires la justifie , je réessaierai. Ne vous fiez absolument pas aux vidéos de YouTube découverte , ce qu'ils nous présentent n'est pas ce que l'on télécharge ou alors faut m'expliquer comment....
alors cela et je pense la première fois pour moi de mettre un avis négatif ........ mais la ont ne sent aucun amour dans la création froid a la vas vite sortie rapide aucune exploitation du potentiel de l'unreal 5 monde vide ressenti rien ( IA ? ) le menu en dit long rien que le bruit du déplacement dans le menu et identique a un jeux très connu volant Moza non pris en charge sans intérêt ici .............. il faut aussi rajouter une catégorie spéciale pour ce jeux oui je dit jeux car pour moi ce n'es en aucun qu'a un simulateur (gameplay) STEAM rajouter donc une catégorie jeux mobile !
Alors le jeu semblais bon, mais on ne peu pas changer les commandes, les touches qui ont ete choisies sont ignoble, on a la main toute tordu, de plus c'est un graphisme console, mal defini, alors bon je voulais ce jeu mais je vais demander le rembourssement, je regarderais dans 3 mois si ca a changé.
De verhaallijn is goed en leuk maar van de 1.4u dat ik het spel gespeeld heb heb ik zeker 90% in de regen gereden, het verkeer moet nog eens onder handen genomen worden want op banen waar je 50 mag, rijd de AI ongeveer 20, is ook steeds aan het remmen voor niets, het vertrekken gebeurd ook zeer traag, het sturen voelt ook niet altijd heel vast aan ,met momenten heb je precies geen gevoel van naar waar je aan het sturen bent...
前作「トラックドライバー」の進化版といった感じ。 前作のしょぼいグラフィックやストーリー等、全体的に大幅に改善されており、なかなか良い出来だと思います。 シミュレーションというよりはアーケード寄りの位置づけのゲームですが、定価では微妙ですが割引があった際に試してみるのはアリかと思います。某アラスカのトラックゲームのように降りることは出来ないですが、アホみたいなバグは無いのでまあそこらへんは安心してプレイ出来るのではないでしょうか笑 しかしながら、トラックの停止状態からの加速が遅くぎこちなく、スピードメーターに表示される速度と実際の景色のスピード感があまり一致していない場面がちらほらあるように感じます。 時速100kmを超えても景色が不自然にゆっくりと流れる場所があったりと、全体的にゆっくりしていてスピード感はなく、少々違和感があります。 Xboxコントローラーでは振動が常にあります(設定でオフに出来る)。 主にエンジンの振動を表現しているのでしょうか、まあいい感じですが、路面の状況をもっと細かく伝えてくれるような調整が加えられるとなお良いですが、惜しい。 キーバインドの変更は多少可能ではありますが、最小限のものしか対応できていないので、カメラの操作や一人称視点でのハンドル位置の記憶やリセット可能なキー割り当て等を増やしてくれるとありがたいのですが、惜しい。 今後のアップデートでこれらの点が改善されることを期待しています。 This feels like an evolved version of the previous game, "Truck Driver." The graphics and story, which were rather lackluster in the previous game, have been significantly improved overall, making it a pretty good game overall. It's positioned more like an arcade game than a simulation, and while it's a bit pricey at full price, it's worth trying when there's a discount. You can't get out of the truck like in a certain Alaskan truck game, but there aren't any ridiculous bugs, so you can play with peace of mind in that regard. However, the acceleration from a standstill is slow and clunky, and there are several instances where the speed displayed on the speedometer doesn't quite match the sense of speed in the actual scenery. Even at speeds exceeding 100 km/h, the scenery flows unnaturally slowly in some places, and the overall slow pace lacks a sense of speed, which feels a bit strange. There's constant vibration with the Xbox controller (it can be turned off in the settings). It seems to mainly represent engine vibration, which is nice, but it would be even better if it conveyed the road surface conditions in more detail. It's a shame. While some keybinding changes are possible, the support is minimal. It would be great if they added more options, such as camera control, memory for steering wheel position in first-person view, and resettable key assignments. It's a shame that these aren't improved in future updates. I hope these issues will be addressed in future updates.
the current controls, and lack of the abiilty to remap make the game basically unplayable on steering wheels. Half of the controls are missing and there is no option to remap them. Such an unfortunate state for a great game to be in. ATM i will be putting in for a refund and going back to the Basic truck driver i have grown to love. This, is hot garbage.

I think this game would be fun if you could change the settings for a steering wheel! right now it is designed for kb&m which is weird for a driving game. Hopefully that will change soon!
Finally got to try Truck Driver: The American Dream on PC, and it feels much better than the earlier console versions. The improvements make for a smoother and more enjoyable experience overall. If you're a fan of trucking games, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try.
