Troublemaker 2: Beyond Dream

Very poorly made Yakuza rip-off. Presentation look very bad, store page screenshots shamelessly lying. Textures looks like mud on every setting except Ultra and even on Ultra it looks meh at best. Game have performance issues and got no business to demand high-end PC for what is offered here. Instead of proper cinematics we have some passable comic strips, voice work is not good and for most and dialogues plain cringe. As for plot - its just not interesting, basically some college kids fighting with drug dealers and gangs while also having a band with a dream of big success. Band is there to justify another shameless theft from Yakuza - karaoke mini game. Anyway, i couldn't care less about that plot, with cringe dialogues its just not engaging. There is also side quests similar to Yakuza substories - they also not very good, or maybe i am too old to appreciate their "humor" like quest about some dude taking dump in a river (yeah, that's level of comedy we dealing with here). But what about beat`em up, maybe action is good? Its not, there is no variety of fighting styles, you just smashing two types of attack and counter on occasion. Animations are very stiff and camera always trying to show you wall or nearest tree instead of your enemy. You can buy additional moves for some variety, but you need to grind in-game currency for it and its just not worth it. My advice - just buy any Yakuza game and enjoy actual well-made game with cool characters, interesting plot, amazing side content and top notch fighting mechanics, do not waste time on poor parody.

Pros about this game : - Improved Writing - Not as clanky as the first game - Free roam - More Side Story - Better "Level-Up" System Cons : - Very Repetitive, especially the Side Story, NPC (Mob) Fighting Style too - Yakuza wannabe, no, seriously they just copy Like a Dragon Map style and Pinpoint asset - Still stiff 3D Movements - Ragdoll is so heavy on finishers - Save file system is just straight trash, its not saving your location and other progress, its just save the main story progress Would i recommend getting on full price? Absolutely no, wait until discounted and its worth to buy

Semua nya berjalan baik2 aja mengenai review gw dan experience gw bermain. Gw maklumin semua kekurangan yang ada di game ini yang menurut gw banyak banget, sebanyak game pertama nya cuma beda letak nya aja. Masalah yang gw dapet menurut gw buat review dan experience gw bermain jadi drop parah sih. Gw cuma pilih menyerah pas game over lawan ricco ( emang sih jordan gw rada kesampingin masalah upgrade skills nya & pas itu gw juga gk bawa item banyak ) , tapi masa iya karena gw pilih option itu, save data gw langsung hilang & gw harus mulai dari awal lg?? GW JDI BENCI SIH SAMA NIH GAME. MAAF AJA. Padahal game ini gw rate bagus sih & gw enjoy dengan semua fitur kayak musik yang bagus2 banget karena ngangkat banyak band indie jadi banyak diketahui dan dinikmati pemain, free roam, combat mechanism yang lebih fluid , nuansa jakarta yang kental & moment2 di indonesia yg iconic & kocak. SATU MUSUH DARI GAME INI YAITU BUG NYA SENDIRI. Beberapa kali bahkan sering gw abaikan dan gw makulumin, tapi masalah savean game yang bahkan gk ada manual save nya & cuma patokan dari auto save nya aja, ENOUGH sih buat gw rada males main yang selanjutnya. [Not a review] The minimum specs are a lie. I can't even get the game to launch properly. It hangs up on launch and I'm stuck on a black screen. (Now I know what other reviews meant when they said it was unoptimized) ---- edit: I actually have 8 gb RAM, Idk why it's detecting as 6

Sekuel yang keren, semakin mirip ama gameplay yakuza series, tapi tolong gerakannya agar lebih luwes lagi, masih terkesan kaku

A huge step up from the first game! Combat could still stand to be more smooth, and the game's performance is far from perfect on my aging machine, but the characters are super lovable and I'm looking forward to the inevitable third entry in the coming years :)
