One of the best furry novels I've played. Great mix of dialogue and mini-games, awesome characters, and Mick + Via are just too cute (and wonderfully drawn). Highly recommend!

This is my first ever review of a game on Steam and it will be quite long with some spoilers and even a little personal, so please bear with me. This game, Trivia About You, left a huge impact on me. I just experienced a huge loss of a beloved family member, a sweet and lovable Pomeranian by the name of Bear. He passed on May 24th, 2026 around 7:20am. Going through that experience, bearing witness to his lifeless body, the calm and peaceful expression when looking directly into his half open eyes, the way his limp body felt when holding him and caressing him, and the sudden shock of his passing was just too much. My significant other, his mother, and I took Bear to a trusted vet's home in order to get Bear cremated. We had to wait a while because the vet was really busy and as we were waiting we each got to say our goodbyes. When I was handed Bear, wrapped up in his favorite blanket, I couldn't contain it anymore. I broke down crying, holding Bear closely to my chest, telling him how much I love him and how I will always love him. Not that long from that moment the vet was ready for us. He took us into a room where he explained the process and how he would make a certificate with Bear's name on it, a plaque with Bear's pawprint, and a little wooden box engraved with his name. We paid the vet and said our last goodbyes to Bear, leaving his body behind. We came back home and I was extremely depressed; I couldn't bring myself to enjoy my usual activities. I would reflect back on memories throughout the course of Bear's life, from when he was a little pup to the night just before he died and I gave him some affection, hugging him and telling him that I love him and always will. I would break down crying every day for a week. We received his cremated remains on June 1st, 2026. It was a truly painful experience, the hardest part was seeing the moment Bear's eyes turned glassy and how hard that hit me; he was truly gone. I mention all this personal experience because Trivia About You tackles the subject matter of death in the game. This is where spoilers will be mentioned about the game(including heavy spoilers). You play as Via, a carefree and easygoing male wolf, who by chance stumbles across a flower shop owned by an older goat woman around late 50's, early 60's. Via is hired by Carol and is rented a room above her shop. You end up meeting your fellow tenants/roommates/potential love interest: Mick, an introverted and shy male jackal who is a kind, compassionate, and sweet person, as well as a talented artist but lacks the confidence to believe in himself; Kyle, a kind, playful, and caring male tiger who loves to cook and share with his friends/loved ones and is also a firefighter; and lastly Shin, an extremely logical, dry witted, and cynical male goat who appears standoffish and distant, but has a compassionate and endearing side to him. Shin also is the nephew to Carol. You play through the game experiencing life and the bonds you form with your roommates, and especially of your chosen love interest. You also get words of wisdom from Carol sprinkled throughout the course of the game. Shout out to Carol by the way, she is one cool and awesome granny goat; I really appreciate and love her character. Especially when it came to dealing with the passing of an elderly man by the name of Bruno and the conversations Carol has with Via about that experience, how that was the catalyst for helping Via not only come to terms about the complexities of life and death and the fragility of it, but also to be more assured within himself to take the plunge and be more willing to express his feelings of love and compassion with your chosen love interest. I chose Mick, because I love his personality and he is just adorable, cute, and so sweet I instantly gravitated towards him. And the slow, gradual formation of a romantic and intimate bond between Mick and Via was done so sincerely and sweetly it really uplifted my spirits and reminded me so much of my own personal bond with my significant other. I especially loved how sweet the first intimate and non-sexual moment of connection was between Via and Mick. It was soon after visiting the grave of Bruno with Carol and Via was in his room trying to process all his thoughts until Mick knocks on his door. Mick comes into Via's room asking for advice on how to properly take care of a specific plant. Mick notices something is off about Via and asks what's wrong. Via talks to Mick on the balcony of his room about what happened to Bruno and how he was struggling to process it and had difficulty conveying it all to Mick. Mick brings up his own personal experience involving his own grandfather and was able to perfectly encapsulate everything Via wanted to vocalize and express, leading Via to compliment Mick about how well attuned he is with his own emotions and feelings. Then Via in that moment being overwhelmed with feelings of appreciation, love, and affection, reaches out to Mick and gently lifts aside his bangs to get a good, direct look at Mick's eyes. Via expresses how much he appreciates Mick and loves how beautiful the color of his eyes were, while Mick shyly responds with how beautiful and warm Via's eyes looked, blushing the entire time. Man that was such a beautiful and tender moment with equally tender, romantic yet subtle music playing in the background, and with such an extremely high quality CG. By the way this game has extremely beautiful, high quality artwork, kudos to the artists for this game; they deserve a standing ovation. I managed to get the perfect ending with Mick first and soon after got the good ending with Mick. The perfect ending with Mick was truly beautiful; it made me tear up, especially the final line within Via's thoughts told in a third person perspective after he gazes upon Mick's moonlit body after making love in their hotel room: "and an overwhelming sense of peace washed over him." Wow, that line hits so hard, especially with my own personal experience with my soulmate. I was so happy for both Via and Mick. It took me awhile to be able to gather my thoughts and feelings just before writing this review. After experiencing such a tragic loss and a few weeks later I stumbled upon this visual novel/game on Steam under the section of "Because you play 'title of game'" where I noticed Trivia About You, added it to my wishlist, then bought it soon after. Playing through this game was a truly cathartic experience; it came into my life at such a painful and crucial moment and deeply affected me in such a positive way. Being able to experience such a truly sincere and heartfelt blooming romance between Via and Mick, and as a result, look back into my own memories of love and romance with my own significant other/soul mate. And being able to better come to terms with the passing of Bear, thanks in no small part because of this game, and having a greater appreciation for all of my loved ones and holding them nearer and dearer, both living and not, all I have to say to the developers, Raccoon Nest, is thank you. Thank you so much for creating a truly beautiful work of art with so much quality and effort put into its creation. You all put so much passion, heart, and soul into Trivia About You and all of you should be proud of the hard work you've done. Trivia About You is a very cozy, heartwarming, and loving experience with a lot of knowledge and information about plant husbandry to boot! I absolutely and wholeheartedly recommend this game. It could possibly be a life-changing experience to anyone who plays it. Maybe help someone discover themselves in a healthy and safe manner in the form of this game. Or maybe help someone overcome the loss of a loved one. And if not that then for sure you will get a warm, cozy, and heartfelt story of love and friendship in which anyone can enjoy! :)

走的老虎线 剧情 前期打工部分有些太水，对剧情推动作用较弱。在棒球赛以后又感觉节奏又加速了，确定关系到结婚太快了【但是不管怎么样好歹结婚了，没有任何乱七八糟的幺蛾子】 美术 我还是蛮喜欢本作美术的，能看出一楼店铺的布置非常细致，cg画的也都很有张力【好评】，但是在双人洗澡和结婚部分没有cg【差评】 操作 手柄适配差了点，但是至少可以在椅子上用一个相对舒适的姿势游玩，不用长时间握着鼠标【好评】 综合 8/10 虽然本作的剧情相对平淡，但是也算是和标题“皮毛小事”呼应了。结尾ep一出现就觉得世界还是很温馨的，有些时候fvn的剧情和设定也不需要特别波澜壮阔，平淡的日常里面滋生出了爱情和悲伤也是一种美好吧。
