Trial of Ariah

Fantastic game. My son and I played together and took turns trying fighting enemies. The game is intuitive but not too easy. The gameplay just makes sense, and I appreciate that it's different every time you play. Those final level bosses are tough, save your life for the end. Would definitely recommend.

The trial version of this game was very enjoyable but this version is great. I tend to stay away from games that use partial AI but this game is worth it with the changing strategy and weapon/defense choices you can make. With some creative twists it also make this Rogue genre game worth hours of challenging play. This. game gets my solid recommendation.

Its a lot like Slay the Spire, yet the use of a grid with cards is a nice curveball to the genre. Great game for the price

Enjoy the different options each time you play. I prefer to go shield but was excited to see the new augments (thorns) from the trial. Made it through to the second round on my first go likely cause I played a bunch of the trial but I can't wait to figure out the best combination. Fun, easy to play through but has some challenges.

This is a fun and accessible game, and the upgrades are exciting. If you beat an event and you pass the final boss, you can get new abilities and find new strategies. You can also play locally with your friends and compete to see who can beat the game faster.

I thought this was an easy passive game and I was getting pretty cocky through the whole first level, as I easily beat the end boss with life to spare. Round two rolls up and absolutely destroys me, both in the game and my cocky attitude. Level one left me feeling like I had the game down, and Level 2 left me wanting to give it another shot. It was the perfect amount of trickiness to encourage my motivation to spend more time on the game and not get bored.

To be fair i have only played this game for about 6 hours but i feel like i can leave an honest review. It took me a bit of time and about 5 times playing through to understand that I needed to protect my life otherwise i didn't have a chance. Once i figured out that i was able to progress pretty well. Combining different features in the game allowed me to feel quite powerful which is something i enjoy very much. I do recommend this one if your looking for a bit of thought and a relaxing journey!

Great game! I enjoyed the progression of leveling up and using more complex sets of actions to beat each enemy. You need to balance attacking, shielding, and healing. My kids enjoyed watching and coaching me up on what to do. There's something therapeutic about the simple flow of the game.
