3 Separated Stories that kind of ties within each-other. Specially Travis Strikes Back: Again is basically kind of connecting characters from the 25th ward, FSR, and killer is dead, a lil bit fanservice I don't really mind those. the way how suda had written this game and this is how he came back from titles he didn't directed seems kind of fair. The gameplay is okay; a casual beat em up but the writing and the story where I bought this game for so long time. crazy they got a bunch of indie devs on the game as well just for customization, but there is one game that I think spark suda again to direct and developed games. I'm not gonna lie that game on the last stage is genuinely frustrating design wise but the pay off in the end, and narrative is pretty good. all the returning and new characters are great. Glad to finish all of KTP written and directed by Suda51 before RIAD. The past doesn't die. Even if killed, it won't die. It won't disappear. Even when you think it's gone, it comes back, making a face like it's been there this whole time, staring at you, sizing you up. The past takes people over. And once it does, it won't let go. MISOGI 9/10

Great game with great story, visual aesthetic and soundtrack, however the gameplay is experimental and repetitive, for a short game like this it does not grant much demerit to the overall experience but it is not a perfect game and lacks depth. The other minor fault the game has is the sidequests, tracking jeanne and the hidden cheat codes are boring and laborous with a bad reward-effort result.

Confused title. The intro upon booting it up is just crazy. Cameos, revenge, HYPE! Then the gameplay... even on bitter it feels so simple and mindless like a game meant for 6 year olds. Tried to see if the level 1 bosses had any real mechanics/environmental interactions, and nope... The character switch mechanics also make no sense from any viewpoint. Gameplay, switching between them is tedious, they have unique dialogue (need to exit and re-enter game to see it). Narratively, it's available from the get-go, and isn't explained (at least not right away), so you are just safely walking around one another? The XXXX? Flavor writing is good, so maybe I'll watch a Let's Play and FF through to all the dialogue, but overall, total failure of a title.

I could say a million good things about this game, from the music to the writing to the character designs and cutscenes. I have nothing good to say about the Hack and Slash gameplay that connects these segments together, however.

at least play it once for the story, afterwards dont play it anymore. the dlc is ok. boss fights in base game and dlc were fun though
