Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.43/day in the week to Aug 13 → 15.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
You are a member of Task Force Dagger, an elite international special forces unit. Your missions take you across the globe—through frozen coasts, dense jungles, and war-torn cities. In Dagger Directive, tactical freedom is everything: pick your loadout, choose the time of day, and decide whether to strike hard and fast or move like a ghost.
Every mission is yours to shape.
Fight across three full campaigns, each set in a distinct region with its own atmosphere, enemies, and tactical challenges. Disrupt an eco-terrorist operation in the frigid Bering Sea. Battle organized crime across the volatile South Pacific. Crush an extremist uprising in Eastern Europe.
Each mission offers a different tactical sandbox, with objectives you can approach from multiple angles.
Gear up from a robust arsenal of 25+ weapons, each customizable with a wide range of attachments. Whether you're breaching doors with an underbarrel shotgun, clearing angles with suppressed SMGs, or picking off targets at extreme range, the armory has you covered. Supplement your firepower with drones, tripwires, grenades, and mines, and experiment with combinations that suit your style.
Dagger Directive blends modern game feel with grounded mechanics. Every bullet and piece of shrapnel has weight, velocity, and trajectory—simulated in real time. Adjust your scope for distance, lead moving targets, and respect the chaos of ricochets. Even grenades scatter deadly fragments that obey real physics.
This isn’t just spray and pray—it’s precision under pressure.
Each mission takes place in a large open area with multiple entry points, dense foliage, and tactical verticality. Control the environment by shooting out lights, hiding in tall grass, or stalking through shadows. Select the time of day before each op—just don’t forget your NVGs if you’re going in after dark.
The battlefield is a tool, if you know how to use it.
The Early Access version of Dagger Directive is already packed with depth and variety:
A 15-mission campaign that spans all three global theaters, offering replayability through multiple tactical approaches.
Full co-op multiplayer, so you and your squad can coordinate, flank, and execute missions together.
Over 25 weapons, dozens of attachments, and a wide variety of tactical gear—already giving you the tools to play your way.
A broad range of tactical equipment including deployable drones, anti-personnel mines, and multiple grenade types, adding layers of strategic options.
Post-launch development will expand both depth and customization:
A mission editor with full Steam Workshop support, allowing players to build and share their own operations.
An expanded tutorial system that dives deeper into advanced weapons, tools, and stealth mechanics.
A powerful Free Play Mode, where players can spawn enemies, allies, vehicles, and gear to experiment or create their own combat scenarios.
Modding support for weapons and gear, empowering the community to add entirely new content to the sandbox.

What's the point in having maps full of grass, crops and bushes if enemies can just see straight through them
I bought the game because of its similarity to Delta Force 2, one of the games I played tons when I was a kid. While it does grant you that old-school, sandbox, delta force feel, it falls short in some aspects. Mainly the AI. It's hard to plan any engagements, try to be sneaky, when shooting an enemy instantly aggros everyone else withing a 50 meter radius and all of them will know your position right away and start shooting at you. Close range and mid range engagements are a bit meh, and you'll end up sniping most of the targets from 500 meter away then go in CQC style.

The game is fun... sorta. Enemies know exactly were you are the moment you shoot regardless of distance or suppression. You can get them to attack the other direction by using drones to circle first. You can use smoke to distract them. But the moment you fire your next shot, the enemy immediately swarms your position again. I've played several missions, some are more fair about this than others because the AI can get a little lost in buildings and such. They can absolutely snipe you from the middle of a wheat field... so grasses do not block their view. Smoke, buildings, terrain can. But if you move and shoot, they'll shift immediately. The game would be more fun if the AI did not have such detailed knowledge of player location.
Let's get right to it. buggy mess with no iron sights (makes pistols and a bunch of stuff useless to me). I only got that one achievement where you have die from fall damage x number of times due to the fact that it bugged and I had to end myself to restart so my friend can spawn on the helicopter with me. whenever a friend joins, there's a chance they spawn without their HUD. No objectives. nada on the map. there was a few times they joined and when they couldn't even see me in the game, as if they're in a single player. so when they died, I couldn't rev them because they weren't syncing. I don't mind that it's difficult because I do like a challenge, but it makes no sense for enemies to see through to me being a snake in the grass, a rat in the dirt, meanwhile I can't see them through the grass. if you're playing on hard there's basically no point in using any other weapon other than snipers/long range. what's even the point of knives if there's no logical reason to even engage enemies in close range? stealth could surely use some work. take some inspiration from IGI 2 for christ's sake. the drones give me motion sickness, which is weird because watching real drone footages used in actual warfare from the drones' POV does not give me motion sickness. the real one has better interface and if we're looking at this as a milsim, why not take inspiration from real life? the map cut off is unintuitive because on some levels, you can get to a very high vantage point quite far from the main objective and have fun that way with snipers. on others, the map cuts off on half of a mountain and there's no indicator. so I'd spend a long time walking towards an area I wouldn't know wouldn't even be accessible to begin with. for players who are unfamiliar, map cut offs in this game are invisible walls, not "you're going off the map, turn back in 10 seconds or be terminated" or whatever it is in other games. I don't like the latter either, but at least have the invisible walls marked on the map. it's like playing pathologic with no fences on the map, so you end up just wasting time and having to circumvent them. however these ones you cannot circumvent. sometimes the weapon disappears from my inventory completely and dropping them on the floor just meant they are gone forever. gotta love that too. I hate to use the word "potential" because yes, steam does sell potential and that comes in the form of various games, but there are still mechanics I enjoy and I'm not about to bootlick the devs. I have always wanted ARMA but with only co-op, no mass multiplayer or anything of that sort. this is kind of it. if you played Sniper elite 1, crawling all the time and feeling tense due to anticipating where the shots would be coming from, it is almost the same experience. sure you have some customizations and weapons variety but I don't think it matches something in HIdden & Dangerous 2 in that aspect, and that game came out years and years ago, so I think there could be improvements in that regard. I do think that this game could in fact become revolutionary for its genre if the devs do not end up abandoning their vision. there needs to be way more missions and actual tactical imperatives rather than just different maps. there needs to be graphics improvement. there needs to be way better syncing. I would also love to have some stuff like thermal vision and iron sights at least for pistols. the workshop is there but for now there's not much in it, which is something I'd love to see change. I am critical of something I want to see improvements in, which means this game has enough grounds to work with. for now I'd say wait for improvements. I still enjoy this it's just not very tolerable in terms of bugs. let's be honest, the game is nowhere ready for a 1.0 and I am concerned that it has been announced. however I hope it will fix most of the issues at the very least.
I will give it another try now 1.0 is out.
theres potential but the AI seriously needs some work, they know where you are at all times. so theres no sneaking. Even if you have suppresors they still know where you are as soon as you shoot.
this ♥♥♥♥ so ass, the ai walks around without flashlights but the moment you shoot they know exactly where you are and will 1 tap you. First mission, rebels walk around, it's dark. They get sniped, they look directly where you are despite being far away. They can see you through grass but you can't see them, again dark and they have only flashlights which half the time isn't even on. They fire once and hit you in the head
This plays almost exactly like the old delta force games. If you liked those then you'll love this game. It has similar mechanics and enemy ai as well so if you think those are outdated you might not like this game. Delta Force is one of my favorites so this game was perfect to me!
It's simple. If you've missed the old Delta Force games, Dagger Directive has you covered! This brings back the DF vibe 100% and adds a lot more to it than that. The game is super easy to learn, and yet the missions will challenge your skill and patience. I randomly stumbled over this, and I'm really glad I did.
