Trapped Dead: Lockdown

// H // O // T // : // R // U // N // // R // E // V // I // E // W // S // You're experiencing an ongoing heatwave and have decided to beat the heat by closing all the windows in your apartment and accepting that air conditioning is a luxury only meant for cooling groceries at the supermarket. In your frustration, you buy a Summer Mystery Bundle from notorious sh1tbag peddler, Fanatical since it promises a chance at "winning" AAA games. Instead of getting Nioh 2 or even Internet Cafe Simulator 2, you get a game with a title so forgettable that you not only forget it the next day, but also after you've installed it and are playing it - Trapped Dead: Lockdown. The intro cutscene makes you almost believe you've discovered a hidden gem with macho military men murdering zombies left and right. Immediately you are presented number of characters at the start screen and, of course, choose the jumbo one for optimal murder. After experimenting with the controls of your "butcher" character you see a kick move. You know the one. This confirms your suspicion that you have indeed purchased a sh1tbag. What follows is a slurry of half-finished, slow paced mechanics that amount to nothing but frustration and sadness. It could have been good and hot, but it's just cold and clammy.

Game has been abandoned and the dev has move on to a new project. The game's multiplayer is broken, which is the main reason I bought it.

Promised co-op doesn't work here

Had completed this game back in 2015 in my friend's house now i purchased to play again & support the dev its a cool game, i enjoyed it had fun, nostalgia for me :)

If you like to kill zombies, get this! I did not expect much, but got a solid simple shooter with isometric view. You move with the mouse and shoot/attack with the mouse and don't move while shooting with "shift", just like Diablo and it's many clones. You chose a character which restricts the weapons you can use and seems to give you a unique skill tree. The weapons are fun to shoot as far as I saw in my 3 hours so far. Of course I started with melee, because melee is the best in zombie games.... right? Nope. Not here. I think you can go with any weapon type you want and have fun. I went for the shotgun after a while, because it is just so much fun to shoot it. But I am always thinking, but the pistols were fun too and how about melee? I would have to put more points into melee, which I don't want to do currently, but man it would be fun to melee these suckers. But like I said, I love me my shotgun and don't need no melee playthings. :-) It is an easy game which is fun. I am not far into the game, but just the 3 hours were a lot of simple fun. The dealer is always the same, if you are infected you need expensive medicine to pause the infection for a while or you will lose health all the time. But the infection is REALLY getting on my nerves. Apart from the infection I love the game so far. Don't expect an AAA game, don't expect ultra graphics, don't expect a story of the century. Just take a weapon and go and kill zombies. I am not sure about the explosives you need sometimes. They are extremely expensive and I had to sell nearly all my stuff to get them. Not sure if I did it wrong or if you really need to give all your stuff to go further in the story?

this second trapped dead game is much better than the first try they did in every way. It looks a tad better, sounds the same and the game just plays a lot faster then the first trapped dead game. I have not experienced the gamebreaking bugs others are complaining about yet. I must say in the one and a half hours i have been playing this, that it has been worth every penny. It feels a bit like a budget game, and it ofcourse is just that. As things are right now i would say, try this game out. Untill i encounter any gamebreaking bugs, RECOMMENDED! If i would have to give this game a rating then i woulfd give this 6 out of 10 points.

great game. still has bugs but overall a ton of fun
