i've seen at most a quarter as many bugs in my 190 combined hours between running train and simrail as i have seen in my 5-odd hours trying this. all of the bugs since 2020, plus a whole bunch of new ones.

Wie jedes Jahr ein echt gutes Spiel! Und dieses Mal sogar bessere Grafik :D
This game is fun to play.
🚆 Train Sim World 7 is the biggest step forward the series has taken in years I would Absolutely Recommend! Here's my full overview below Train Sim World 7 feels like a genuinely meaningful evolution of the series rather than simply another yearly number slapped onto the box. I've played plenty of Train Sim World titles, and TSW7 brings together some of the most requested improvements and new features the franchise has had in a long time. From completely new ways to play to major graphical improvements and quality-of-life changes, there's a lot here that makes the experience feel fresher and more immersive. Freight Hauler One of the biggest additions has to be the brand-new **Freight Hauler** game mode. Instead of simply following a predefined timetable or being told exactly what to do, you're given the freedom to marshal, shunt and move freight around the railway yourself. Freight cars populate the route and need moving, meaning every session can feel different. The randomly generated gameplay gives Freight Hauler fantastic replayability and finally gives freight operations a mode where you can approach the job your own way. Live Weather Live Weather is another brilliant addition. The game can now use real-world, location-specific weather conditions, meaning the weather you're experiencing in-game can reflect what's actually happening where the route is located. It's a surprisingly immersive feature. Loading into a route and seeing the railway affected by the real conditions outside makes the world feel much more alive and dynamic. Beginner Controls TSW has always been an incredibly detailed simulator, but that level of complexity can sometimes be intimidating for newer players. The new Beginner Controls option makes it much easier for people to jump in and start driving without immediately needing to understand every switch, button and system in the cab. The important thing is that experienced players haven't lost the detailed simulation experience. It's simply another way to play, making Train Sim World more accessible without taking away the realism for those who want it. Better Safety System Options TSW7 also gives players more control over safety systems. Experienced players can have safety systems enabled by default or configure them individually, making it easier to tailor the simulation experience to how realistic or challenging you want your driving to be. 👷 AI Conductors Another great quality-of-life addition is AI Conductors. (I Know they can be buggy from time to time) When enabled, the AI can handle door operations for you, with options allowing this to happen either across services or only when it would realistically make sense. It's a small feature on paper, but these little improvements help make operations feel more natural while also giving players more flexibility. Huge improvements for PC players As a PC player, the graphical and technical improvements are particularly exciting. TSW7 introduces: • DirectX 12 support • DLSS 4.5 support • FSR 4 upscaling • Improved visual clarity and anti-aliasing on supported hardware • New graphical improvements • Epic quality settings for PC The DirectX 12 support and modern upscaling technologies are especially welcome additions, helping TSW move forward technically and making better use of modern PC hardware. With the right setup, the game can look absolutely stunning. 🚆✨ 🇬🇧 The Airedale & Wharfedale Network is incredibly special to me For me personally, the standout part of Train Sim World 7 is the Airedale & Wharfedale Network. This isn't just another route that looks interesting on a map. This is my local railway. I live in Keighley, so being able to jump into Train Sim World and drive through places I know in real life is honestly surreal. Seeing the route recreated, including Keighley station, and being able to operate services across the network towards Skipton, Bradford Forster Square, Ilkley and Leeds gives this release a completely different level of immersion for me. The route also includes modern Northern operations with the Class 331, while the Deluxe Edition adds the Northern Class 333, a train I've actually seen and travelled on in real life. That personal connection makes this route an absolute highlight. 🚆More ways to experience the railway TSW7 continues to offer plenty of ways to play, including: • Timetable services • Scenarios • Journey Mode • Free Roam • Conductor/Guard gameplay on supported routes • Route Tasks • Livery Designer • Formation Designer • Scenario Planner • Creators Club And with timetable layers, substitutions and additional trains, there's plenty of variety across the routes. The addition of random events influencing timetable gameplay also helps make the railway feel less predictable and more alive. Final thoughts Train Sim World 7 isn't just about adding another collection of routes and locomotives. It improves the actual foundation of the game. Freight Hauler adds an entirely new way to play. Live Weather makes routes feel more connected to the real world. Beginner Controls** make the simulator more welcoming to new players. Improved safety system options and AI Conductors** add flexibility and quality of life. DirectX 12, DLSS 4.5, FSR 4 and new PC graphical settings** help push the visuals and technology forward. And for me, having my local railway around Keighley recreated in Train Sim World makes TSW7 even more special. 🚆 More freedom. 🌦️ More immersion. 🎮 More accessibility. 🖥️ Better technology. 🚛A completely new way to play freight. Train Sim World 7 feels like one of the most feature-packed and meaningful upgrades the series has received in a long time.** If you're a Train Sim World fan, a railway enthusiast, or someone looking to get into train simulation, this is a fantastic place to jump aboard. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My honest experience so far with a 70 dollar game; loaded in at first pretty fast, new Tri-Rail route is performing very well on fairly high settings for my mediocre pc(80FPS). Everything looks good on the route/locomotives, but I took the train to the first station on the route, and it crashed. I then turned off conductor AI as a DTG team member had suggested to do as they look into a fix for this. That did fix the issue, but this is quite unacceptable on launch of a 70 dollar game. Something like this should have been caught in play testing I imagine. The second run with AI conductor off the dynamic/live weather which was supposed to be smooth was, indeed not smooth, the lighting randomly popped. Then about 2 or 3 stations in, at one of the crossings vehicles would not stop and I ended up creaming a pickup truck. Which has been a bug on routes like San Bernardino(Metrolink) since 2024. Also on the Tri-Rail Geep the rear headlight button when hovered over shows up as front headlight and vice versa. If the bugs are fixed I will gladly make this review a positive review as the routes, locomotives, and sounds are fantastic. I really like how they also included the C40-8W as a layer from sand patch. If you don't mind these bugs(given DTG's history about fixing bugs) I would still buy the game and or route, maybe wait till its on sale. I really hope they fix the bugs mentioned above because otherwise its a very good new route. Would not recommend the game at full price currently though.
Very fun to play
Der beste Train Sim World aller Zeiten!
