Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 6.71/day in the week to Sep 15 → 17.71/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Ta bueno!
Having finished the game and completed all side quests that I'm aware of (anything highlighted on the map, at least), I would no longer recommend this game to my friend who likes other JRPGs and was considering it when I first mentioned it (I felt a lot more positive about it at the start). I'll try to break that down, but different aspects of the game felt more rewarding at different times throughout.
Gameplay
In general, the game feels very modern. The controls (I played with keyboard and mouse) feel perfectly fine and polished. The premise of action RPG into stun into turn-based is similar to Metaphor: Refantazio, but the real-time combat here has more depth (more moves to use). The turn-based combat reminds me a bit of fire emblem, but not snapped to the grid. Some of the earlier boss fights really incentivized/required rearranging your orbments to get useful support skills or focus firing a single target vs using spread moves. All of these are positives and initially had me very happy with the game during the demo and for a while after. Unfortunately, it overstays its welcome by the end. I think one of the main reasons is that I stopped feeling a sense of progression after unlocking the 6th orbment slot. The strongest arts guzzle EP like nobody's business (requiring mitigation like EP cut and EP) but don't feel all that impressive even when the elemental types match and it's the strongest spell for the element. Compare that to something like persona, where the most expensive skills all feel impactful and you continue to get stronger personas or skills throughout instead of stopping partway through. Also, U-Material upgrades were incredibly grindy. I beat the game on normal with only a couple of orbments maxed at 3+, so it wasn't exactly necessary, but it just felt really weird to hit the end with so much unmaxed and yet so little upgrade material in my inventory. I'm sure that someone playing at a higher difficulty than normal would feel more pressure to minmax their builds to perfectly solve fights, but I would sooner just go play a different game if not for the story.
Story
Just going to spoiler tag all of this just in case. Read at your peril.
I appreciated during the demo that, even though Joshua was adopted, they were just like normal siblings and it wasn't weird for once in an anime setting. Oh, how naive I was. It's less bad imo than other cases since they met relatively recently on the scale of their lifetimes, but still not thrilled by how that all developed throughout. That aside, my bigger beef with the story (writing this review after finishing the game) is how dumb and unsatisfying the ending felt. Joshua always had some kind of dark or tragic past teased, but they finally revealed it and it was a complete disappointment. Unrealistic child assassin history, some sort of abstract notion about a broken heart and putting it back together, and then the decision to leave Estelle instead of trusting her or Cassius after all this time (and kissing her with a sedative like he planned it even before she confessed). At the MINIMUM he should have warned her about Professor Alba. Speaking of Alba, I guess I shouldn't be surprised when a game telegraphs suspicious characters like him or the Colonel by appearance, but it still ruins any semblance of a surprise/twist.
I don't fully regret buying or playing this game and may even pick up the next chapter on release or during its first sale, but I'd be hard pressed to recommend this over other JRPGs I've played.

Un très bon Action-JRPG
It is so well made turn based JRPG. Gameplay-wise it has awesome openworld and movement on it, good telegraphing of where the objectives and side content are. Combat in the overworld is a nice touch, but the turn based combat has a flaw in my eyes. Turn order is time based, and thanks to some attacks giving delay on action, the enemy can just stun-lock you till you get your ultimate and can do something about it or die. It is frustrating, but one godly feature, a true gift from the heavens, saves it all. If you get defeated in combat, screen after lets you fight the same fight with reduced enemy strength. This way if the combat is for you unwinnable or you want to progress and don't want to grind and such, you can just do that (multiple times btw) till the combat is at a difficulty you what it to be. I love this feature so much, because it made the combat challenging, but winnable. Progress never was locked, I could just go and grind in the subsequent area and if the boss had 6 actions thanks to delay, I could just stop being frustrated and go on to the next part. About the story and pacing. Big part of it is lighthearted and slow. It is chill, and I enjoyed it. It still has a lot of deeper parts and characters are written really well. I also like that it is not simply fight between good and evil. it has believable characters.
The menu controls are garbage and clunky for 2026, combat is just a game of try not to get one shot by the enemy that is debuff immune and has three turns in a row. If you want to level your characters good luck, Turn based combat is just damage sponges and wasting revives, overworld combat has no punch and all damage is less than halved. You can't upgrade gear quickly or easily, and even on Normal mode you have to sit and grind levels till you guess you're at level for the next mission. Absolute crap, I can't believe I was looking forward to playing this game. not bothering with 2nd chapter.
