Trade Bots: A Technical Analysis Simulation

In general very informative simulation tool. I have played for 10 hrs and didn't unlock much yet. I find it helpful in building up basics of trading and hopefully I can start building bots soon. With that said, there are minor bugs here and there, hope they can get fixed soon,

Very good for learning the basics of indicators and even dives into some of the less-known indicators and their functions. Good for practicing.

buy the game : start 1st game . not able to trade anything no money . instant able to unlock all upgrade to xx millions. all of them . try to buy or short : bot things . unable to close window or go back . blocked here . i would have love this training game but it was unplayable for me from start . ask a refund sadly

Buggy. Chart completely disappeared, empty screen.

Not realistic as I do this in real life, and am profitable. Real stock data is used sure, but no news or volatility index, trends etc. are given to you. Lessons an info are good, but mechanics of trading are poor in that the Buy/Sell amounts/sell all should be all customizable. The fact I can't dump all my shares at once is silly. Can't move on to the other portions of the sim due to not doing enough hours or "beating" the stock levels. Indicators are poor, and for someone whos never done this its like this, "Here are the worst indicators for trading and an account with no money, go win, good luck..."

Just like the real stock market, the stock plummets as soon as I buy in. I had to change my recommend to a thumbs down. Even though it can be good for really really basic beginners to learn some technical indicators and such, it doesn't go much further beyond that. There is no drawing on the charts to truly map out trends and it doesn't really teach you any strategies. So after learning about the indicators and the basics, there really isn't much to do beyond guesswork, which is disappointing as this had a lot of potential. Also, the youtube embedded videos are no longer available. The dev needs to make videos part of the game and not linked to a source they can't control... If the devs added the ability to draw trendlines on the charts, remove all of the numerous bugs, and add in options trading, then this game would be top notch. As it stands right now, people are better off doing their own research and using TradingView to backtest things. Really wish the devs would continue to improve their game.

Review updated after major bug patch that was giving me issues. So a little under than a month after my review all my bugs got smashed, so bravo devs, very impressed. Still think the bot part of the game should be far more accessible as it is it takes days at a minimum of effort to unlock the lowest tier which seem baffling to me and the learning guidance could be smoothed out. But the core of my complaints get resolved in weeks, I give props. Very nice. - Watching the prices on the graph will occasionally move beyond the screen if it moves to fast. - And if you don't buy the, very pricey upgrades (brush or play/stop automatically) when you start off that allow you to cut out some of the graph? The game becomes unreadable after a certain amount of years in game. Do certain upgrades break the game if bought out of order? Yes Can I confirm that after $1000 the game doesn't seem to offer you any tools to automate trading which is what I bought the game for? Yes, also please note that you have one purchase at $500 that gives you $15 to bank in future runs and one more for $120 that banks $5, so to find out this information is probably going to take you hours at a minimum....yes I'm salty about it. Have I learned things? Absolutely. For example if there isn't a certain minimum level of volume traded weekly chances are the stock just isn't going to go anywhere at any appreciable speed. Maybe not a problem later on in the game, but early you'd be better off skipping to the next stock. The fact that I think the winning strategy is getting to the magical 20 dollars in profit so you can borrow $100 and get the $120 upgrade so you have the $5 permanent carryover. Then repeat it over and over to the point that you get a reasonable amount of money to play with. Either that or just buy immediately and just hope the stock goes up so you can get what you want. I don't think paying $120 of game currency to turn on the "idle" part of this "game" is a fair buy in. Neither is the $400 to run the game while it's offline. Of which you can't benefit from because, once again, the automated tools don't seem to be unlocked until some nebulous time after $1000 because I haven't found the upgrade or any way to unlock it. I've finally gotten to the point that I have some amount of success with certain indicators turned on. But buying all those at the start cleans me out. So once again, buying and resetting seems to be the desired gameplay loop.

Could have been one of the best game at least in financial games but unfortunately full of bugs and unplayable and it seems developers don't care and have pretty much abandoned it.
