Yes it's a good game, it has a lot of variety and game modes and i've had a good time playing this with my friends but the main issue is that the game is just dead and it's filled to the brim with degenerates... i mean obviously there are really creative people and also really nice people among the community but some of the people that i saw playing this game gave me the ''BECAUSE I HAVE PHANTOM PAIN'' kind of vibe (fat ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ redditor addicted to pornography if you didn't understand). The 1.0 update just sucked complete ass, there was barely anything new from what i could tell and it didn't feel special, i really thought they would go all out when releasing this game out of early access but i guess the devs either thought they could get a lot of money and players back from a half-assed release or they were just lazy ♥♥♥♥♥. It really hurts to see this game still dead and flop from the lazy release, it surprises me that no one seems to be complaining that the game is dead, even on the official discord but meh, coping is free i guess. It really sucks for the people that make beautiful condos and decorations for them, the different gamemodes are so fun but are also held back by rubberbanding issues and lag, i'm from south america so most gamemodes just suck to play because of the ping, but i've also seen americans or europeans complaining about lag and rubberbanding so it's not just me. Just don't buy it until the devs make some effort to make ads for this game or maybe pay some cheap streamer, also they should make sure that the servers don't cease to exist with more than 2k players at once, also dont buy the supporter packs they are just a cheap excuse to give the devs more money, those don't give you ♥♥♥♥. I know there's going to be a certified tower unite dev ♥♥♥♥ gobbler saying ''oh its an indie dev team that's why the updates take so long and mimimiimmimi and also mimimi oooo yes tower unite dev team give me more supporter packs that dont give me anything useful mmmm oooooommmmmmmmmmmmm give me all your milk macd uwu''. Well to that person i say they're literally making another game called Elevator, with the effort they are going to spend on that project and also money, maybe they could advertise this game better and double, maybe even triple the sales of this game because believe me, its a REALLY good game but it just sucks because it's a socializing game and there's barely anyone new to socialize with, and also barely anyone to play with, there's literally gamemodes with 0 players on them sometimes. In conclusion, don't buy it until there's some effort to even advertise this, be careful with the weird side of this community and no, i've never played gmod tower so im not an unc coping about gmod tower, i just really liked this game (for the 100th time) and it sucks to see it dead. SMALL REVIEW UPDATE : It seems that people do complain but their comments get deleted in discord, they get timed out or banned (also from commenting)... that's funny pixeltail games, lazy cucks, Mao Zedong ahh moderation.

It's a no from me, banned my friend for speaking out about child endangerment. DON'T PROTECT PEDOS
I was really excited to play this game and found myself really enjoying it up until my friend was permanently chat banned for "harassment" because she called someone a creep after the person had repeatedly expressed that they wanted children to stay on the game that were found participating in sexually explicit activity with adults. The person was fixated on reporting anyone who was present and calling them weird for their behavior and was trying to get other people mass reported a few days prior for something else. I cannot continue to play and support a game where the moderation team is in defense of someone who is okay with and seems to encourage harmful behavior toward minors and it is disgusting to me that calling someone a creep for pushing that they want minors to remain on a game when it's related to sexually explicit reasons will get you chat restricted/banned.
UNLOST TOWER UNİTE OYNUYOR YEMEK VE BIÇ İDDİALI YENİ OYUN w/ ALP, BERK, DİRENCAN, EVRİM (13.11.2017)
After nearly 1400 hours in the game, I suppose now is a good time to give my review. I'm not sure how to structure this as I've never really written a review before but let's start with my general opinion of the game: I recommend it. It's one of the most fun and addicting games I've ever played. If you're into building stuff or if you just want a fun space to hang out in, I'd be hard-pressed to find a better alternative. There's a ton of minigames within the actual game. Everything from mini-golf, gun game (SDNL), Infected mode (Virus), shooting galleries, claw machines, a Mario Kart-esque game (Accelerate), carnival games and a bunch of different arcade games to play. Not to mention the games that some users create in their own condos. Along with just regular minigames, Tower also has support for emulators built in as well so there's a lot you can do to say the least. There's also a casino that you can win (or lose) a ton of money at. Don't worry, there's no microtransactions or any of that other modern day bs in this game. You earn currency through playing the minigames and doing stuff around the plaza basically. When it comes to the casino, I recommend staying away from Blackjack, but Horsebetting and Roulette all the way! The slots are decent too. If you like gambling but don't wanna take out a mortgage or worry about the yakuza coming for your fingers, then this game can definitely scratch that itch. When it comes to building, I've not found a better, more in-depth system than what is in this game. You can build practically whatever you want and the only real limitation would be time and your own imagination. I've spent countless hours just building stuff in my own condo. Everything from small one-room worlds to entire cities. The creativity of the community knows no bounds and it's always fascinating to visit other condos and see what people have built. This is really where I spend the bulk of my own time in the game because you can really make your own space for both you and your friends. Everything from custom textures and canvases and custom workshop items. While I do think some of it could be a bit simpler so that novice builders don't get turned away, I like the system the way it is. It's a little bit complex, but just simple enough to where a caveman like me can still learn how to use it with some time. The condo I/O stuff is really good as well, but I'd recommend it mostly for those that are more adept at building and are more familiar with the mechanics before diving in head-first. When it comes to character customization, the game itself does provide its own models, though most people, myself included, use custom avatars from the workshop. These avatars can, of course, be further decorated with accessories, hats, necklaces, glasses, inner tubes and other gear. There's so many ways to personalize your character and if you can't find one that you like, there's even a few people that take commissions for adding characters to the game. That being said, there's a ton of options and you're bound to find something you like. When it comes to the community, the game has its ups and downs. As with any social game, it has some issues. However, if you stay away from the drama and just do your own thing, you'll be fine and if you stick around long enough, you'll learn who and what to avoid. I've never personally had any beef with anyone in the community for as long as I've played the game and I've met some of kindest and most creative minds here. Many of those people are still my friends to this day. As a general rule, I would play the game in a way similar to how I'd conduct myself at a bar. Stay away from controversial subjects like religion and politics and other nonsense, but don't be afraid to be yourself and cut loose sometimes every now and then. In general, just try to be mindful of others and consider the time and place. Do that and you'll be golden, more or less. The community isn't as big as it used to be. Lots of people stay in their own condos or in friends' condos and sometimes the plaza isn't overflowing with people, but it's not a big deal. Some of those that remain are some of the most dedicated and coolest people in the community. With having a small population, it's a lot like living in a small town. You'll meet the same people most days and you'll get used to seeing them pop up in the chat. I like this game and I think most of you reading will find something that you yourself will enjoy about it too. Anyway, that's about it. See ya
It is unfortunate that Tower Unite is one of the last vestiges of social/virtual chatroom games (or whatever it is you'd want to call them) because ultimately it's potential has been squandered by the developers. TU started out with many good, or even good intentioned ideas- no microtransactions, usage of various public domain resources, and hell, probably even borrowing some mini game ideas that would have otherwise fell by the wayside independently. However, it feels as though the team has allowed for many of their core features to languish- frequently shifting focus from one aspect to another and leaving various others unfinished (still wondering about those big empty spaces in the arcade), extremely glitchy, and some features/games being rendered completely unplayable or enormously frustrating to work with. The condo building could be one of the most robust and compelling parts of the game (my friends and I rather enjoyed using our decorated condo for holiday special watching- until the YouTube playback broke but, that's another story) if it not for the bugs and breakages regularly introduced by the developers. But it's okay because instead of just fixing the features on their own they're going to... put them in a weapon entity? Alrighty. It's really kind of too bad, because if they put like, any effort into it there'd be the potential for people to be making racing games, game shows, all sorts of stuff (that actually ran well). TU'd be making that Roblox money (but from adults) if they played their cards right. But they didn't. But the saddest flaw that competes with the above is PixelTail allowing for the community's personality to take over the direction of the game and the administration. Games like this require an objective handle on moderation or else an ad hoc culture develops and ultimately ends up icing out new players that aren't aware of it and even disrupting a roadmap if severe enough. Did you know that they have a set of nonexplicit bannable offense rules? Probably neither did most of the folks that they banned! lol I have a hard time recommending this game because of how many it's features feel like kinda got abandoned and how insular and lame the community has become after all this time and we're far, far past the point of it mattering after this many hours and that, afaik, PixelTail has already started working on their next potential mistake. Really, this is more to say hey, some of us really miss these kinds of games and want to see more of them- adult oriented social games where you can build ♥♥♥♥ and make your own fun, maybe pop into a hub and meet some internet weirdos. TU was okay for that for awhile but I feel that hasn't been the case in a little while now. By the way, you guys probably should have just implemented some small degree of cosmetic-only microtrans. Dummy money still money.
randomly banned from chat and tv queue after playing for 2.5k hours thanks macdgay
Honestly i love this game and i've been playing for years but I feel like the price tag increase is causing players to not give this game a try. I got this game when it was like $5 now its $20. The servers are pretty empty now a days.. I really believe there's more money to be made when the game is priced $10. The $20 price point makes it really hard to convince my friends to play. When I could get the keys for $4 and some change so many people where willing to give the game a try i managed to convince 7 people to play with me which is like $30+. At the $20 price point I haven't been able to convince anyone to play at all. $0.
Loose admins ruining peoples normal enjoyment of the game. its crazy that in a social game you can walk up, talk to someone and be bullied because you aren't in their group.
This game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ugly lmao, how do you get mogged by the original running on the source engine lmao
