About

Tower of Time is an incredible adventure packed with over 50 hours of gameplay, hand-crafted levels, and a rich story told through cinematics. Taking classic RPG gameplay to the next level, Tower of Time features flexible character development, thousands of pieces of loot and equipment and the complex and tactical Arrow-Time real-time combat system.
Important note: Combat in Tower of Time is different. Each battle is designed like a tactical puzzle. If you want to enjoy combat, you need to pick the difficulty which is adequately challenging to you skill set and adjust it as you progress. On highest difficulty level it is very demanding and requires you to find the synergies between classes, skills and the equipment.
Immerse yourself in a world where technology meets magic with devastating consequences. Gather a group of diverse champions and lead them through the tower. Hundreds of lore books and scattered pieces of information slowly reveal the history of Artara as your party of adventurers approach their fate.
Take ultimate strategic control of each battle with the Arrow-Time combat system that slows the action down to a crawl or pauses it. Plan ahead and position your party where you need them for ultimate effect. Use Arrow-Time to react to new threats, deploy devastating new spells and attacks and counter enemy attacks. No two encounters are ever the same. On harder difficulties - look at each battle as a tactical puzzle.
For those who do not like or have time for typical long cRPG and prefer fast-paced combat oriented games - RPGlite mode cuts down the story content and lets you focus on party building and tactical combat. With Permadeath option for those who appreciate a really tough challenge and want to test their skills. Compare yourself with others via Score and DPS Race leaderboards.

Got fifteen minutes in, said "GET ON WITH IT" three times, realized I was not interested in more wading through the annoying main character's yapping. From the look of other reviews, I dodged a bullet by not even making it to combat. Not my cup of tea, apparently.
Another ♥♥♥♥ game that is poorly put together. no wonder it was free.

this is straight trash the slow time mechanic does nothing on the major fights it seems and the kite and run every damn encounter the entire time is the worst combat i have ever seen in a GAME. definitely a crpg convoluted check 1000 things to read and if you miss one you have to go read a blerb to figure out what mechanic you should be avoiding... the bosses all summon adds or have one shot mechanics. its annoying beyond words and the devs cant even make the abilities work correctly the charge from the warrior doesnt break channels.... you have to run behind things and thats what they mean... its the same old song and dance " but if you die 1000 times it gets good" makes me a recall certain saying about bridge builders and how a single action can make their career not matter.
Just played the game in 2026, and i guess this can be place as my one of the best strategy RPG library. Fun to play, quite challengin. I hope there is sequel or something.
really good game, thought it would be a snooze fest at first but progression system and combat system are pretty solid, I like the fact that it gives a diablo feel but with a far more strategical approach. very underrated and very good!

I really enjoy the story, setting and build up. The graphics are decent and the pick ups/challenges are not too frequent enough to be exciting. I'd love to play more. I find the battles repetitive and boring and just makes me stop playing. You just basically do the same thing each time and the enemies come in 'waves' but you can see their % at the top of the screen, so you know when to use your last mana etc. There is very little jeopardy. A real shame as I do genuinely like the setting and not in battle time - even though there is quite a bit of reading, it is good.
First get it on sale... because the game is very text heavy the hole story is nothing but text with recaps of the past being the only thing that is voice acted. I read the hole story and its a 10 out of 10 I read all the lore books and there all a 10 out of 10. the game is very dark fantasy so if that is not your thing play another game. The gameplay is very good for what its going for. There is one or two bugs in the game but nothing to massive I only say there is bugs because there are bugs but there mostly like lighting being different depending on where you stand in one spot on that one level kind of bug. Overall rating for the game 7 out of 10 mostly because of the no real voice acting in a very good story and the tedious feeling that you get from reading everything but if you do one floor a day its not a problem give or take. overall I had lots of fun playing the game but not the best game I have ever played
