Touhou Kimono Blast

Touhou Kimono Blast is not only Touhou in name, but also in difficulty. If you play adult games to turn your brain off and just look at porn, then this game isn't for you. You not only have to focus and get into "the flow" in order to survive, but you also have to endure for long periods of time. This is a VERY good game, with lots of strategy involved. I thought this was gonna be like Deep Space Waifu, but it is definitely its own thing. Touhou Kimono Blast plays like this. You have 4 stages for each girl 1. The first strip em up level (first layer of clothing) 2. The second strip em up level (second layer of clothing) 3. The third strip em up level (third layer of clothing) 4. Stripping all 3 layers of clothing in one go and is more challenging The strategy comes in because the clothing actually stops you from being able to shoot the enemies. You have to decided whether you want to destroy clothing and dodge all the enemy projectiles or if you want to fly off to the side and try to take some enemies out. The clothing isn't just one big piece to destroy either, it's a very slow process as you are chipping away at the clothing with each shot. In order to beat the level, you must destroy all the clothing. You have as much time as you need to complete this task. Even though this is just in Early Access, this game plays extremely well. The only issues I've had thus far are the overlapping words in the options menu, the 5th level of Orange lagging/losing fps, the translations (English at least) could use some work and the tutorial doesn't explain everything properly. I have not had any other issues. I will revise my review if I find anything else. Here's my tutorial: Holding shift will slow you down so that you can maneuver through the bullets better (you can also concentrate all your fire power in one place). Z just makes you stop shooting bullets, and I have no idea why. X let's you use your magic. You unlock new playable girls by beating Hard Mode. You unlock new level girls by beating Normal Mode. Over all, this game is fantastic for those that like a good challenge. The music is amazing (I've heard both Orange and Higeriguru's level music so far) The game play is challenging, strategic and fun The moaning is good, though it happens a lot. If you don't like the moaning, you can turn it off in the menu section. The art fits the part. From an outsider's perspective of Touhou, it sure seems to fit well from what I've seen. Overall, I am completely happy with my purchase and I've only played the 1st girl, Orange so far (I just unlocked Himeriguru). I can't wait until this game is completely finished. I'd say support the dev, get this game and get ready for a challenge ______________________________________________________________________ Update June 8, 2023: The game seems to be a lot more optimized now and the issues I brought up have been resolved for the most part. I've now played all the way up to Marisa, which is the 4th girl as of right now. Each level has it's own set of special enemies that you'll only encounter on that particular girl. I really like the themes within each battle. Bug girl has butterflies and special fairies everywhere, Ice girl has a whole bunch of ice attacks and Witch lady has falling stars. The English translation could still use some work, but the game runs solid. The game can drop down to like 20 fps, but that is few and far and I believe the dev is still ever more optimizing the game. I am still EXTREMELY happy with my early access purchase and would immediately support this dev again with whatever else he puts out. This game filled the spot of Deep Space Waifu. I actually probably like this game more as it feels like it has more strategy. Damn good game. Highly recommend.

I want to like this, I really do, but I cannot recommend it in its current state. Each level takes forever to complete since you need to destroy every little pixel of clothing, and the screen auto-scrolls, so you can only actually attack the clothes like 10% of the time, and the rest is spent waiting for the clothes to scroll into view and fighting an endless horde of enemies, who are going to kill you way before you get there. The game also forces you to play on higher difficulties to actually unlock new content, which is always a pain.

東方同人遊戲超讚，感謝遊戲作者發布這麼棒的東方遊戲，這是我有生以來玩過最好玩的彈幕黃油，以前沒有玩過彈幕類型的遊戲，但這款上手很快，且有許多遊玩上挺方便的功能，搖桿的X鍵/鍵盤的shift可以使用集中模式，移動的更慢且射擊的彈幕更加集中。 難度上，具有挑戰性，hard對於新手，打個幾把就能上手，遊戲角色都滿18(包括彈幕都已經滿18了www)。作者藏了一些梗在過場黑幕中，常常使我會心一笑。之後有時間會想把後面的關卡都打過，起承轉合的關卡設計，打到合時會比較疲累，會需要點時間。推薦在週末的夜晚慢慢挑戰，只有具有技術的人，才能看到那香甜的CG。 2023/5/9更新，新增評論： 我認真思考後，在經歷了這麼長時間，我思考了很多。當初是認識的朋友推薦購買，我當初也很高興，有新的東方遊戲。不過，過長的遊戲時長和對我而言過高的遊戲難度，這些問題困擾了我很多。我覺得以我的財力來看，這遊戲並不是特別便宜，甚至他已經達到許多經典的遊戲的售價，如：Terraria。當然，我並非是以售價就直接給定有色眼鏡。 我覺得，成功的遊戲/黃油有三大背後功臣：程式、美術、策劃。bigGG工作室，看了下面的評論，是只有一個開發者。我知道他三位一體，挺辛苦。不過我也無法昧著良心說，這款遊戲有達到我心中的標的。想了很久、也想了很多。現實其它認識的朋友因為我的評論和推薦也看到了這款遊戲，到現實中和我詢問。我很看好東方同人遊戲的未來，也很希望這款遊戲慢慢變好。不過現在的內容，我很難評論這是一款特別好的遊戲。
