Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

♥♥♥♥ this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass game, won't even run on Linux without bugging audio nor on Windows 11. Only giving good review because the Divide Et Impera mod team is amazing.
The constant crashes make this game almost unplayable.. they always happen in the worst possible moments and its annoying af also some annoying bugs that were already in the game 10 years ago still havent been fixed, like the hud disappearing when you press esc to often and some other minor things i do enjoy playing this game but will definitely recommend against buying it

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 12.14/day in the week to Aug 15 → 17.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

After many years I returned to this game. I'm a long time fan of the total war series and when Rome 2 came out, I ordered it pretty much immediately. I played it for some time, it was fun... but there was something I didn't like. When i returned this time, I found some pretty serious bugs, which ruined the game for me. I know it's something well known to other players but i must say it too.. During the town defence, the gmae mechanic for gate control doesn't work at all. when there is at least one enemy soldier nearby, the gate isn't considered under you control and doesn't allow you to use the boiling oil. It doesn't make any sense because how could on enemy soldier (or even the whole enemy army) down under the gate prevent you from pouring oil from above? It totally ruins the the sense of defending a town, because the walls/towers/others defences are meant to defend agains larger army. It doesn¨t work though. Another objection is also from town defence. When the enemy lands the ladders on your walls, it's not possible to set them on fire or put them down in any other way. It¨s another game breaking bug.. pretty much for the same reason as the previous. There are some other (in my opinion) not so great things like i.e. secession mechanic (not bad but i would need some upgrade), limited number of legions (there shouldn't be any limit, just what you can afford with your economy) or impossibility of dividing armies (you cant leave a few separate companies in a newly conquered town). Don't take me wrong. There's a lot of great things about this game. I enjoyed the naval battles and combined land/naval battles. the politics system is pretty good. Damm... I have more than 200 hours in this game so it must have something... But still... I can't recommend it because sooner or later you'll see one of these problems and it will cause you to rage quit.
They charge for everything, the game is broken without mods and they break the mods with their updates. I wont even comment how inferior combat feels to the first rome total war. They deserve all they ♥♥♥♥ they get, but I think they deserve a lot more.
This game is insane, in comparison to the original primitive half accurate rome total war, this is gold. Just playing a little while and im already hooked, its really good and they made a decent effort, however it sucks that they seem to also want to make it a cash grab and make a ton of dlcs that cost almost as much as the game, despite it already being insanely expensive unless you wait a whole month for a discount. Its a big sad that CA decided to lock so much of the game behind a small fortune, or else everyone would buy this game, and probably many people have, but my advice is that once its aged enough they should do what they did for empire total war and discount it so it can be infinitely replayable and so many more people have a chance to play this amazing game. (Please note that I am reviewing this with a limited amount of time having played and my experience might change my opinion overtime. Overall in my experience so far id give it a 7/10 because of all the amazing graphics, decent accuracy, and also decent scale (for a game like this with all its limits).
游戏是好游戏,但是这该死的投石兵凭什么手又长伤害又高跑得还快?我一队留人老兵大队愣是没打过一队AI的垃圾投石!气死我了
Якщо анлокнути всі ДЛС тоді це шедевр.
Never thought id be paying for blood and gore. But here we are. And its not a nice feeling to be quite honest :(
The game freezes my pc every time I try to load into a battle.
Wouldn't recommend when you got a modern PC parts. It freezes randomly on battles or randomly in the game. Even thought i barely got hours on it the gameplay was good but its ruined by the constant freezing not even crashing it just stays frozen until I have to forcefully shut down/
