Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 12/day in the week to Sep 1 → 9.14/day in the week after.

Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; Epic publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.
Updates
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 12.14/day in the week to Aug 15 → 17.71/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Total War Rome II - the game that the community either refuses to call a total war game, or are completely loyal to the game. I am of the completely loyal fanbase. Total War Rome II isn't for everyone (OBVIOUSLY) - you have to plan your economy, manage multiple fronts, manage politics and your subjects happiness, and MOST importantly - you are going to have to learn that losing is just part of the experience. Every campaign you do is different. Some games everyone cowers before you and you decimate and conquer without hardly any resistance, and other games it feels like the entire world is out to get you. Funnily enough the main complaint I always see or hear is how slow things progress, whether its troop movement, or combat itself. And to that I say to you, this is swords, armor, catapults, and overall mashing troops into troops combat. There are no guns, no tanks, no air support. The only way to guarantee a quick victory is with deep strategizing and outflanking. Listen, as far as I am concerned, this scratches my RTS itch and my Roman Empire itch. I am hopelessly addicted and likely will be a while. THAT ALL SAID, the game is not perfect, and there are things I hope to be added if a Rome III ever is released. 1 - Being able to trade/buy/sell/transfer land to allies. It is beyond frustrating that you are forced to conquer land and have no option to give your subjects or allies more land. 2 - Carthage. Plain and simple. They need to be seriously reworked because as it stands the developers absolutely did them dirty. Carthage had a very real chance of winning the first and even the second punic wars, but in Rome II, they are horrendous to play. They have zero economy, and much worse units than both Rome and the Syracuse who will both declare war on you sometimes within the first turn. More often than not you get obliterated, and I had to download mods just to make them playable, and even then its very 50/50 whether you will get a good game or screwed by RNG. 3 - For some reason they didn't add the feature to let politicians govern cities. You can hire politicians and they do absolutely nothing other than being a potential General or Admiral. With the vast majority of factions, the women have literally nothing to do other than have children and pray it is a boy. 4 - Children die WAY too often. Like seriously if you have 3 children, chances are only 1 will make it to adult-hood to become your heir. Needs to be reworked bad because the chances of them dying young is way too high.
