Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Sep 10 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Tormentum II is a dark, surreal point-and-click adventure with elements of psychological horror. Explore a hand-drawn world, solve puzzles, and make morally ambiguous choices that shape the fates of the characters you meet. It tells a new, standalone story, so no knowledge of the original game is required.

You play as David, who is building a simulation populated by beings capable of human-level thought. Every night, he dreams of a locked chest and hears a woman's voice calling to him. When an anonymous seller offers him a mysterious coprocessor, parts of the dream begin to surface while he is awake.
David installs the new hardware. He wakes in a prison on an island surrounded by open sea. Somehow, he is inside his own simulation.

David remembers little about how he arrived. He soon discovers that his creation contains layers he never designed and has a will he cannot control.
The inhabitants speak of gods, beings that come from distant places and disappear just as suddenly.
To find a way home, David must cross the islands, explore the unfamiliar layers of his creation, and discover why it no longer obeys him. Explore each location at your own pace. Conversations and puzzles gradually reveal more about the simulation.
Your choices shape the fates of the characters David meets. There is rarely an obvious right answer, and your decisions lead to multiple endings.
Point-and-click exploration and puzzles across multiple surreal islands.
Choices with consequences that shape the fates of the characters you meet and lead to multiple endings.
200 hand-drawn scenes. Dedicated close-ups bring the total to nearly 500 individual background images, roughly three times as many as in the original game.
Surreal art inspired by H. R. Giger's biomechanical forms and the desolate worlds painted by Zdzisław Beksiński.
6 to 9 hours of gameplay, depending on your pace.
A dark, atmospheric soundtrack with occasional heavier passages influenced by metal.
A complete, standalone story. No knowledge of the original game is required.

We spent almost eight years making Tormentum II. The core development team consists of two people: Piotr Ruszkowski and Łukasz Rutkowski, both of whom helped create the original Tormentum: Dark Sorrow.

This is an awesome game. The some puzzles need careful thinking but the atmosphere and pacing are great. So far, this game holds engagement well and doesn't feel tedious. I definitely see where choices matter as I lucked up on one part only because i backtracked.
It's been 6 years since I played the original Tormentum game, but I've never forgotten its very distinctive dark fantasy story, artwork, soundtrack and gameplay. So I had no hesitation in buying this long awaited successor game, and it hasn't disappointed (though I'm not sure that I fully comprehend the deep and complex story even after completing all endings & achievements!) Overall Tormentum II provided about 50% more play time for me than the first game, largely due to the multiple endings (half of which require a significant amount of repeated gameplay after making the most significant mid-game choice) and, to a lesser extent, some mutually exclusive achievements. There are only eight save-file slots available and these cannot be given descriptive labels, so keeping track of which choices are reflected in each save-file is difficult but absolutely necessary to minimise replay time. The artwork - largely 2D with multi-layers to give perspective effects - is stunning and atmospheric (and often disturbing), and is well complemented by the music & sound effects. As mentioned above, the overall "worlds within worlds" and "what is reality?" storyline is branching and difficult, but very cleverly implemented and managed, I thought. The minigames and the point & click puzzles are not particularly difficult, but their style fits into the "dark fantasy" theme fine. Overall, then, it was a long wait from the first game but well worth it; I congratulate the tiny two-person development team on their imagination and implementation (and also on their responsiveness to reported errors and suggested improvements from players).

The artwork is absolutely amazing, just like the Tormentum 1. The puzzles aren't too hard and the point and click aspects are fun and well done. If you like a beautiful and casual point click, you'll love this one.

A dark point and click adventure with awesome and grotesque visuals and a very interesting story. I have played the first game back in the day, and it was a pleasant surprise to see the sequel releasing after so many years. If you like what you see in the trailer/screenshots and you enjoy a point and click adventure then look no further.
It was worth the long wait. I loved the atmosphere of the first title and found second one is the perfect sequel. A gorgeous experience
Tormentum II is a stunning point-and-click adventure that completely captivated me with its dark fantasy world, psychological horror atmosphere, and truly outstanding artistic direction. From its accessible puzzles and meaningful moral choices that shape the story to its compelling characters and breathtaking hand-painted environments, the game delivers an immersive experience that makes you want to discover every possible ending.
