Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Sep 10 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Tormentum II is a dark, surreal point-and-click adventure with elements of psychological horror. Explore a hand-drawn world, solve puzzles, and make morally ambiguous choices that shape the fates of the characters you meet. It tells a new, standalone story, so no knowledge of the original game is required.

You play as David, who is building a simulation populated by beings capable of human-level thought. Every night, he dreams of a locked chest and hears a woman's voice calling to him. When an anonymous seller offers him a mysterious coprocessor, parts of the dream begin to surface while he is awake.
David installs the new hardware. He wakes in a prison on an island surrounded by open sea. Somehow, he is inside his own simulation.

David remembers little about how he arrived. He soon discovers that his creation contains layers he never designed and has a will he cannot control.
The inhabitants speak of gods, beings that come from distant places and disappear just as suddenly.
To find a way home, David must cross the islands, explore the unfamiliar layers of his creation, and discover why it no longer obeys him. Explore each location at your own pace. Conversations and puzzles gradually reveal more about the simulation.
Your choices shape the fates of the characters David meets. There is rarely an obvious right answer, and your decisions lead to multiple endings.
Point-and-click exploration and puzzles across multiple surreal islands.
Choices with consequences that shape the fates of the characters you meet and lead to multiple endings.
200 hand-drawn scenes. Dedicated close-ups bring the total to nearly 500 individual background images, roughly three times as many as in the original game.
Surreal art inspired by H. R. Giger's biomechanical forms and the desolate worlds painted by Zdzisław Beksiński.
6 to 9 hours of gameplay, depending on your pace.
A dark, atmospheric soundtrack with occasional heavier passages influenced by metal.
A complete, standalone story. No knowledge of the original game is required.

We spent almost eight years making Tormentum II. The core development team consists of two people: Piotr Ruszkowski and Łukasz Rutkowski, both of whom helped create the original Tormentum: Dark Sorrow.

Incredible, dark atmosphere and a tribute to the masters! Tormentum 2 is a title with which I spent an absolutely fantastic time. From the very first minutes, the game pulls you in with its thick, unsettling atmosphere. However, the most impressive aspect here is the phenomenal visual setting. The hand-drawn, surreal art style is a true tribute to the works of Zdzisław Beksiński and H.R. Giger. The designs of many creatures and characters have this specific, biomechanical flair that immediately brings to mind the classic Alien. It simply looks brilliant and builds the game's world phenomenally. Everything is perfectly complemented by a highly atmospheric soundtrack that constantly heightens the appropriate mood. As for the gameplay itself, the puzzles are of a high standard. They don't frustrate with an artificially inflated difficulty level, but they definitely require logical thinking and observation, providing a lot of satisfaction when solved. A big plus is the fact that the second installment is noticeably longer and visually even better than its predecessor. However, if someone hasn't played the first part, I highly recommend starting there – it's still a great game that perfectly introduces you to this world. Finally, a small note for achievement hunters: completing the game at 100% will probably require a second playthrough, but in such a great atmosphere, it's pure pleasure! I definitely recommend it to anyone who appreciates a unique style and immersive, dark worlds. Wersja Polska Niesamowity, mroczny klimat i hołd dla mistrzów! Tormentum 2 to produkcja, przy której spędziłem naprawdę rewelacyjny czas. Gra od pierwszych minut wciąga swoją gęstą, niepokojącą atmosferą. Największe wrażenie robi tu jednak zjawiskowa oprawa wizualna. Ręcznie tworzony, surrealistyczny styl graficzny to istny hołd dla twórczości Zdzisława Beksińskiego oraz H.R. Gigera. Zdecydowanie polecam każdemu, kto ceni sobie unikalny styl i wciągające, mroczne światy.

If you were a fan at all of the original, this is a fantastic follow-up and a must play. For those who are a fan of adventure and hidden object games with amazing artwork, even more so. A great dark transhumanist story.
Description
Tormentum II is a dark point-and-click adventure game. Though describing it as such feels like doing it a disservice. It is first and foremost a deep dive into art. Gothic, punk, grunge, metal, at times gross, at times glorious, always epic art. This game will show you so many incredible art pieces that you might feel like you are visiting a museum, but one with an interactive story attached. It is obviously the sequel to Tormentum, which I recommended all the way back in post-COVID 2017. Practically another aeon. And still that game had stayed with me for near a decade, so much so that I bought the sequel as soon as I realized it had released. Did it deliver? You bet. Tormentum II is a textbook example of a great sequel: don't ruin anything that was awesome in the previous opus, just expand on them. Note: you do not need to play Tormentum before Tormentum II.
Pros

Incredible art! YMMV obviously, as with all things this daring and creative (and gorgeous... ahem)... If you've looked at the screenshots before reading this review then you know what I mean. But man, isn't that game a treat for sore eyes! A cornucopia of outstanding visuals
Excellent soundtrack
Intriguing story leaving a lot to interpretation
Truly interesting moral choices, like in the previous game
Extremely reactive dev team
Benevolent puzzle system which will let you get items before you have found clues indicating what they are for and will remove them from inventory once useless
Mostly straightforward puzzles (with some outliers that require out-of-the-box thinking)
Most-welcome ability to highlight interactable points (especially in a game like this one where the art is so seamless, it's often hard to tell what can be clicked on)

Cons

Slow pace overall, especially on later playthroughs trying to get different endings
Not particularly friendly to achievement hunters: some early choices determine which endings you can unlock, and the save system is miserly (a few slots, no renaming afaik)
Bleaker than bleak, discretion is advised
Slight camera movement following the mouse might be uncomfortable at times

Verdict
If you have played and liked Tormentum, go ahead, this is more of the same, just better. If you have not played Tormentum, take a good look at this game's art and if it appeals to you in any way, try the demo. Only if you have played the original and disliked it will I not recommend this gem to you.
Hola? No Spanish? Really? Polish, italian, portuguese, french? I know this is a real small team but seriously... Do you know how many hundreds of spanish speakers are in the world? Please tell me you are going to release spanish translation soon, I really want to play the secuel. Until then, bad review and refund, sorry.
Holy cow am I enjoying this game- and it seems like I have so much left! I played the first one 3 times since its release, and the third time was recently in prep for this one <3 I'm so excited, and the artwork is stunning just as before. A true testament to art and the human experience of creation. A completely different approach to the same kind of game with art just as grotesque and thought provoking, while being indulgent. Highly recommend!!!!
Hab damals Tormentum 1 geliebt.
The first vibe is way different than in the previouse game... but it's still awesome and that means you don't need to finish the previous part in order to enjoy the sequel. I got this in a bundle so I will definitely finish both games. Good job devs!
Vom reinen Vibe her erinnert das Abenteuer stark an The Cat Lady – ebenso traumatisch wie bildschön.
