Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Sep 10 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Tormentum II is a dark, surreal point-and-click adventure with elements of psychological horror. Explore a hand-drawn world, solve puzzles, and make morally ambiguous choices that shape the fates of the characters you meet. It tells a new, standalone story, so no knowledge of the original game is required.

You play as David, who is building a simulation populated by beings capable of human-level thought. Every night, he dreams of a locked chest and hears a woman's voice calling to him. When an anonymous seller offers him a mysterious coprocessor, parts of the dream begin to surface while he is awake.
David installs the new hardware. He wakes in a prison on an island surrounded by open sea. Somehow, he is inside his own simulation.

David remembers little about how he arrived. He soon discovers that his creation contains layers he never designed and has a will he cannot control.
The inhabitants speak of gods, beings that come from distant places and disappear just as suddenly.
To find a way home, David must cross the islands, explore the unfamiliar layers of his creation, and discover why it no longer obeys him. Explore each location at your own pace. Conversations and puzzles gradually reveal more about the simulation.
Your choices shape the fates of the characters David meets. There is rarely an obvious right answer, and your decisions lead to multiple endings.
Point-and-click exploration and puzzles across multiple surreal islands.
Choices with consequences that shape the fates of the characters you meet and lead to multiple endings.
200 hand-drawn scenes. Dedicated close-ups bring the total to nearly 500 individual background images, roughly three times as many as in the original game.
Surreal art inspired by H. R. Giger's biomechanical forms and the desolate worlds painted by Zdzisław Beksiński.
6 to 9 hours of gameplay, depending on your pace.
A dark, atmospheric soundtrack with occasional heavier passages influenced by metal.
A complete, standalone story. No knowledge of the original game is required.

We spent almost eight years making Tormentum II. The core development team consists of two people: Piotr Ruszkowski and Łukasz Rutkowski, both of whom helped create the original Tormentum: Dark Sorrow.

Excellent Point & Click contemplatif !!!
Honestly even though there was a lot to like about this, I think I preferred the first game. The two main issues for me here were that firstly, it was fairly unclear what types of choices we were making and whether something felt right or not - very very ambiguous which meant it was hard to maintain a consistent pattern of choices - and this worst of all meant I didn't even care about my choices towards the end of the game. Secondly, sadly, I felt it dragged on a bit too long - I was actually trying to rush towards the end at one point. Which hurts to say because normally I love these types of games. The art and music are incredible - no arguments there. I still recommend this to fans of the genre. But something didn't quite click for me with this one.

I liked the first Tormentum. I remembered playing that game when I was a teenager, and then I forgot the name of the game and couldn't find it for a long period of time. Luckily, I could find it with AI, and then I played it again to make sure it is still cool and awesome as it was. And I was so glad to see that Tormentum 2 is coming! And it's still excellent! The narrative, the characters, the visual and soundtracks, everything is amazing! I do like this game!
Worth the wait, for the art style alone. A worthy successor to the original Tormentum, and gods, do I hope they make a third.
Man, that game was simply something else
some people say that the story is incoherent but i say they dont read. Sure the first game was mostly just you walking in purgatory choosing between GOOD/BAD morals. But the second one had almost no moral decisions and a lot of choices that affected the world itself and and not just you. Just because it didnt give you option doesnt mean there wast a different way you could do things. most people probably just thought thats the only way to progress the story and newer considered that they are the reason for how messed up and convoluted it became. Sure i got stuck few times and got annoyed but its my own fault for not checking controls to see if there a button to show all interactables overall it was a nice game

Very dark game, good point and click adventure, where your choices matter more than rigerous puzzle solving. Beautiful artwork albeit not for the feint of heart.
Very very good game. Same mechanics as the first game. Beautiful, riddles not so hard, long game, pretty good musics. I don't finish it atm, but i'm very close to the end i think. I'll replay the game to have all achievements, did all choices and see all their endings. 0 regret to buy it. So many years between the announcement and the release. I love their games. Even i have a preference for the 1st game. He had incredibles musics and a crazy atmosphere. An atmosphere you'll find quite quickly in the second one
