Best Indie PC Game, Digital Dragons 2014. Top Hat is a 2D action adventure platformer, just like old NES games. If you are tired of “games” in which you get hit by heavy machine gun and grenades, and all you need to do is cover behind the wall to replenish HP, then Top Hat is a perfect game for you!

Very nice game
A nostalgic 2D action-adventure platformer that throws you right into old NES era difficulty with its blend of pixel graphics, upbeat chiptune soundtrack, and punishing platforming. The visuals, chiptune music, and varied world themes really lean into that nostalgic vibe. Tools like the platform gun add puzzle platforming flair beyond simple running and jumping. Affordable price makes it a low risk purchase if you’re curious about retro platformers. Tough difficulty although game is positioned as challenging, but some levels and bosses feel punishingly unfair, especially with the controls being a little loose. Best suited for retro platformer fans who don’t mind a steep difficulty curve and some technical rough edges. At its low price, it’s a fun experiment but temper expectations if you're looking for polished modern precision.

This little game is fun with music that keeps you moving through the levels. It's entertaining from when you start till when you die or just want to stop playing. I didn't realize I'd been playing for about 20 minutes before I had died. The video on the store page is pretty accurate as far as gameplay and speed at which you move throughout the levels. The $10 price of this game is way too high in my opinion. If you liked the video and and are really into what you saw I'd say anything around $4 would be a good price. If you're curious about the game, wait for it to show up in a bundle. That's how I got it and while I probably won't play it often, it's entertaining enough to come back to when you want to change things up a bit between games or you just want to play something fun that isn't going to take up a lot of time.
I really like it, its a good old style game
