They obviously couldn't get this sharpened turd off the presses fast enough to be throwing a gem like this to the public for FREE. The breakdown: It plays like a sh*ttier, less refined version of Kingdom Rush. The tower damage is practically meaningless, the UI is awful, and there's no creativity when it comes to how to place your towers. I played this game about 20 minutes longer than any other human should. I tried practically everything and nothing allows you to both generate money and build defenses to a sufficient level by the time the miniboss sprints to the exit like a patron at Chipotle after scarfing down the entire enchilada realizing there's about 10 meters between them and the bathroom door and about 15 seconds before a biological bomb is deposited in the seat of their pants. I desperately tried to figure out how to slow down tanky units but also deal damage to kill them, I failed on every occasion because the game has no system in place to show me what "30 damage" means. There's no sound, there's no indicator of how many levels you need to pass before you unlock the next area, and it's largely recycled Unity stock animations for the running enemies. In the event this game receives a major overhaul, I'm open to reevaluating my decision, until then free is still too much to pay for this.

ОЙ КАЙФ. Ставим башенки и они пиу пиу убивают врагов это по нашему по галактическому порядку мироздания. Toon TD is a free to play Tower Defense from Gee Studios. Created by a small team of three people. Defend your castle. Explore new environments. Face fierce bosses. Develop new and unique strategies for every level in this next evolution of the Tower Defense genre. In this adventure you will find yourself building an array of unique towers to fight increasingly difficult and strong bosses and randomly generated waves of enemies. The only thing that kinda annoyed me was the guessing how much towers do, (poison best tower) also more refinement on the map would be cool instead of them just spawning maybe they come out of a cave? Also the trees lighting was flickering. other than that its a pretty good game just need some maybe like enemy info like when you hover over it. Despite the games difficulty (which is fun but can get annoying if you don't know what you're doing) anyways pog gam
Really enjoying the "free ride" - at this stage the game is a real challenge. I actually cheered when I cleared the first level! (Pretty much got the final boss on the last shot) Just a couple of points: - the left mouse button held down moves the screen, orherwise it can be difficult the place some towers. - Bosses (at least the first one) drop "articles" that seem to inhibit Tower shooting and can be cleared by clicking on them. - watch when you are placing towers, as the sell tower button can be easily activated. - don't know how to exit the game (currently using Alt/Tab). Notwithstanding, an enjoyable experience.
This game is one big meh in terms of the TD genre. It's near impossible to get through the levels, this is mainly because of the minibosses and the effects that towers do or don't have on them. The game railroads you in choices that you need to make when starting the game. i.e. the only way to get through early rounds unscathed is by using AoE towers, take an arrow towers and you've already lost 2-6 health in the early waves because it literally can't keep up with the enemies in wave 1. This also brings the ways to play this game all the way down. Slowing towers are needed to get through the midgame but, by the end, if you want to kill the boss you'll have to sell them for high single target damage towers, this is because the slow effect of the towers does not work . Now this would be fine, except you're making so little money (only on kills, nothing on wave end) that in the end when the boss spawns you've not even got enough to level up all your towers to max, this also means you don't have enough money to sell and replace your slowing towers. This in turn can only mean that the only way you're getting past the boss is by buying the perfect tower. Difficulty doesn't ramp up. Animations are meh and often pointless. One of the bosses keeps casting spells that do something I guess? Except you have no idea what the spells do as the boss might just be throwing stones around that dont do anything, or he might spawn a magic circle beneath the feet that also... doesn't do anything? Some bosses do actually have some useful "spells" like the Golem that spawns minions. Gonna give it a negative review even as a free game as it feels more like an assignment than a game.
Let me start by saying that this tower defense strategy game is an absolute must-play for any fan of the genre. From start to finish, it's clear that this game was crafted with a deep understanding of what makes tower defense games great. But what really sets this game apart is the inclusion of level bosses - a feature that takes the game to a whole new level of challenge and excitement. From the moment you start playing, you'll be hooked by the game's charming graphics, intuitive controls, and addicting gameplay. Each level is meticulously designed to be both challenging and engaging, with a variety of enemies that require different strategies to defeat. And just when you think you've got the hang of it, a level boss will appear to test your skills like never before. These level bosses are the true stars of the game. They're big, they're tough, and they require all of your tactical prowess to defeat. Each boss has its own unique strengths and weaknesses, which means you'll need to constantly adapt your strategy to come out on top. But don't worry - the feeling of satisfaction you'll get when you finally take down a boss is well worth the effort. Overall, I can't recommend this tower defense strategy game enough. It's clear that the game devs poured their hearts and souls into this game, and the result is a true masterpiece. Whether you're a longtime fan of tower defense games or a newcomer to the genre, you owe it to yourself to give this game a try (plus, it's free). Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16
It's a pretty good game, I really enjoyed the bosses. It can be pretty challenging though but I've found that to be a nice change of pace compared to a lot of other tower defense games that don't require you to be as careful with how you place things. It is missing some polish but for a free experience and coming out of a single developer it not bad.
