If you like to organize, this is your game! Tons of Toys is the game. Several thousands of different toys to organize. I love the ability to unlock the robots , now they do get pushy at times! LOL! Its very relaxing. Loved the different types of toys and items in this game. The only thing I would complain about is that towards the end of the game, the robots would place the items on the shelf and get stuck holding the item. The item would not be on the shelf, its just haphazardly placed. The robot would not move until I picked up the item and used the ability to collect more in order for the robot to move again. Other than that 10 out of 10 on the game!!! I cannot wait for updates and new ideas!!!
layout is awesome. hoping they do more maps this was great. so much thought and time put into the layout and making it feel awesome to see done

I wish wish wish Steam had a middle ground option because I don't want to pan indie games if I can help it, but this needs some more time to cook in the oven. It's a solid organizational game with clear parameters of where stuff goes, so that's great. The look of things is engaging and fun, although I was having serious GPU issues and had to lower the game resolution so I didn't keep looking through the floor and missing which shelves had things on them. But all the levels within were just...meh. Earning the skills is fine but the skills themselves don't make a lot of sense--instead of higher levels reducing cooldown time, it's piece by piece (so level one, you get one piece, level two is two, etc). When you have 5,500 pieces in the game, pulling things piece by piece to you isn't actually that helpful. The assistant robots are a neat addition to the genre but I'm a little concerned for them: there's no interaction (though they do make interesting noises when you bump into them) and they win any space argument and just push you along. They pick up things and drop them next to their shelves but that dropping sometimes glitched so hard I'd have to pick up a similar item and summon to get it out of the shelf texture. And the third robot just chilled under the staircase for the last couple of hours in an NPC-breathing kind of way and I hope it didn't, like, overheat circuits or something. There's also no celebration/animation when a whole unit of something is finished, which is nitpicky but again, when you have 5,500 items, it's cool to mark "hey I'm done with all the cotton candy of this kind" or whatever. Helps make the game seem less rote. So yes, it's a good thing for what it is, but there's some definite work to be done yet. Not my favorite of the organizers I've played, at all, and I spent a lot of it just frowning at my screen.
I finished the store (not using any upgrades besides carrying capacity + walk speed). I had a reasonably good time, but sadly this game needs some QOL fixes before I can recommend it. * The text in the bottom right showing what item(s) you have in what order are white. Many of the items (especially board games + books) are also pale/white, which means you cannot see the text. * The train is a cute idea but it is so janky. It's too slow to stop so I end up running over toys that I meant to stop in front of to put in it. You have to jump on it and float above the carriage to throw toys in. Even when you do that, some toys still fall to the ground. Same annoyance with trying to pick toys back up out of the train when you've stopped it. I think I used it 3x and then gave up and just ran around with toys in my hand instead. * Some items spawn on top of existing areas (looking at you, plane platforms). I put planes away thinking I could just grab the items later, but instead I had to remove all the planes before it would let me select the things behind/underneath them. Arguably I guess this is more realistic, but what would be even more realistic (and less frustrating) would be to not let me put planes on a space that was already occupied by something (or even better, auto-swap the plane in your hand with the item that it was going to land on). * The logic for where the items go seemed pretty weird/magical (for the items like planes/dinos/etc that are not laid out in a grid and have multiple platforms to place things on). It got very old, very fast, to have to highlight each shelf and see if the "Place" icon was visible and then click the button to place, and if not scroll to the next shelf. I guess because initially when all shelves are empty it feels nice because you can place anything anywhere, but then extend this to the entire area - if I'm holding a velociraptor and pointing at the velociraptor tower, clicking the place item button should just fill whatever empty spot is available. The items are already separated out by colour/style so it's not like I care whether I'm placing an item in one spot vs another on its shelf/platform. * Suffers from the usual tidy-up game problem of having x thousand items to pick up by just taking each item and making you tidy 10-50 of that exact item. The items are cute to look at the first couple of times you see them, when you're on your 49th red/blue robot it has entirely lost its charm. (Not even going to contemplate how many individual candy bars/bags there were, those definitely got old real fast, but at least they were easier to pick up than the robots.) I did not try the robot helpers as I prefer to play these games as relaxing shut-off-my-brain, so I'm going for chill enjoyment rather than optimisation.
Cozy and relaxing. Great game for anyone who loves to chill and organize things.
It's fine as far as being a standard tidy up game, but there's definitely a few issues that need to be touched up before I'd think of recommending it. 1.) There wasn't an exit game option in my playthrough; I had to CTRL/ALT/DEL to exit out or tab out. 2.) Despite having a good gaming laptop (it can run games like Baldur's Gate 3 on the highest settings no problem), the game chugs pretty hard if you make the mistake of walking through a pile of items. 3.) The helper robots are a nightmare; I wouldn't have unlocked them were I not trying to get achievements; they shove you CONSTANTLY, they get in the way and can cause you to get clipped into things like the train if they ram into you while you're close to it. Additionally, they toss items they drop into the shelves about 50% of the time, making the items only attainable by using the gather ability because they're clipped into the shelf and not interactable. They either need better pathing or to have no collision with player models at the very least. They're a menace otherwise. The assets are cute (the plushies in particular); I love Milo (the intro area cat) and that there's a counter for each time you pet him; the tidying is satisfying and the map is easy to navigate. I think there's something decent here that can definitely be worthwhile with some polish and patching.
Loved this game! I loved the design, the toys, the layout.. its very smooth and easy to interact with. Even loved the robot boofing me out the way like 'Scuse me Sir! 100% recommend.
Great Game, really loved it. Nice features with the Robots and the Items looking unique und many different Themes. Can't wait for Part 2 :D
