Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.57/day in the week to Sep 18 → 7.75/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
OPERATE WITHOUT RESTRICTIONS
Sam is back in his tactical suit and goggles, more lethal and agile than ever. Granted the freedom to do whatever it takes to stop the Blacklist, he races across the globe to uncover the source of this devastating threat.
OWN YOUR PLAYSTYLE
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist builds on the franchise’s stealth roots while expanding into action and adventure. Players can define their own playstyle and are rewarded accordingly:
- Ghost players remain undetected.
- Assault players confront threats head-on.
- Panther players strike silently and lethally with precision.
TOOLS OF THE TRADE
Take down the Engineers using advanced gadgets like the upgraded Snake Cam and the Micro-trirotor Drone. Fan favorites return, including the Sticky Shocker and the brutal curved Karambit knife. Stealth enthusiasts can abduct and carry enemies, while the Killing in Motion system lets players mark and execute multiple targets in one fluid, cinematic move.
BUILD A NEW ECHELON
Sam is forming a new Echelon unit: his team, his rules. Anna “Grim” Grímsdóttir returns as technical operations manager, CIA operative Isaac Briggs brings firepower, and hacker Charlie Cole rounds out the crew. Fourth Echelon operates from the Paladin, a repurposed stealth airliner equipped with unlimited resources and cutting-edge tech.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Awesome game well worth the play
i have splintered a cell or two in my lifetime. the list was indeed black as well. wow. big boom
So, this is it. The last Splinter Cell we ever got. But I would say they went out with a bang regardless. It may not follow the old formulae of having a display how visible exactly you are. You will need to use your own eyes instead here. Even if Sam is in "Shadow" meaning his gear flares up like in Chaos Theory. Here I really recommend to tune your display as intended for the game. This requires you to turn off HDR in Windows if you have this enabled or everything will be washed out. It's nice to natively "see in the dark" without using NVG's but you will also loose the reference how visible you are. If you can see Sam, then so can the enemy if they get close enough. While the game plays much like Conviction, we have the pacifist approach returned. Even though it's not as focused on it as the previous games to stay hidden. It does encourage it. You now have three play styles and can more or less chose how to play the game for the most part. *There are missions that force you to stay hidden and to leave the enemy undisturbed for portions of it or it will fail. Ghost, Panther, and Combat. Ghost focuses on non lethal approach and to stay undetected, rewards you even more if you don't touch the enemy at all and just avoid them when possible. But you do get bonus points for taking the enemy out in a non lethal fashion as fast as possible. Panther focuses on lethal approach, but remain hidden. It will not reward you for leaving the enemy untouched but to kill as many of them as possible in a row to get bonus points towards the playstyle. Combat is exactly what it sounds like, go loud. Pray you survive the encounters, but with Conviction's "Last known position system" it is actually a quite satisfying way to play the game. Again it rewards multi kills. Each mission has a Gold Medal for earning enough score in a certain play style which encourages you to play the game several times over. And it can be quite tricky to achieve them in some of them forcing you to replay the same mission several times. Like Conviction, Blacklist has a multitude of weapons to choose from but can be modified quite a lot further than Conviction allowed. You won't start with Sam's signature weapons either, you will have to unlock them by playing missions. The game revolves around the Paladin, an aircraft that serves as your home base between missions. Whether you play the campaign or want to do the extra 4th Echelon missions which vary between basically horde mode, or take out a certain amount of enemies or to hack targets without raising the alarm. All of these were also playable in Coop and there is a fourth mode that sadly is ONLY playable in Coop. Which brings me to the big downer of Blacklist in 2026, because Ubisoft shut down the servers back in 2022. This sadly means no Coop anymore on PC nor access to the signature PVP multiplayer, agent versus mercenaries. It also means all the public leader boards have been taken offline. You can now only see your own progress. The problem with the servers now being offline is that you can no longer achieve certain in game content. The 4th E missions for example are given by each of four different side characters in the game. Grim gives the hacking missions that force you to stay undetected. Charlie gives the wave survival missions (Horde Mode) Kobin (Yes the very same Kobin from Conviction) gives you the take down missions. But Briggs missions are all Coop specific and you will never be able to play them again nor unlock the combat armour you get for finishing all of them. They were focused on teamplay and forced you to help each other out while playing them. One of you as Sam, the other as Briggs. I will admit I do not remember anything from them, unlike the Conviction Coop which was amazing. Blacklist never got any DLC missions really either. All of the 4th E missions are Coop playable and some mission specific pickups cannot be collected without playing them that way. So again, forget about collecting it all in this game. This is also the only Splinter Cell that still has any Achievements on PC. Steam recognized the terminated servers and removed all of the multiplayer specific achievements. So you can still 100% the game on Steam. But you never will be able to get them all on Ubisoft Connect, unless you already got them before 2022. Not even the in game ones. On Xbox 360 and PS3 however, you can still play the Multiplayer via Peer to Peer connection. And it's backwards compatible on both Xbox One and Series X. Upscaled to 4k. But you will be stuck with the 30FPS limited frame rate. Graphics: On PC the game runs easily in 100FPS or more on modern machines. Mine is maybe a bit overkill for it. But I would recommend to limit it to 60FPS regardless. Because of the usual Havok glitches that tend to occur in higher frame rates. And other weird glitches like stationary jittery enemies that refuses to follow their actual paths. This is also the by far best looking Splinter Cell game and it holds out actually quite good even today in 2026. Made with a heavily modified Unreal Engine 2.5. Which I find bit odd for being released in 2013. Double Agent was one thing, Conviction was a bit odd however, but to still use that version when Unreal Engine 3 has been out for several years at this point. Released But it isn't made by the original team Montreal, but by Ubisoft Toronto. Montreal helped but wasn't majorly responsible for it's development for some reason. Ubisoft Montreal created the SCX engine for Chaos Theory, which is also based on Unreal 2,5. However Blacklist far surpasses the fidelity that CT had being made for the previous generation console. Blacklist also far surpasses the visual fidelity of Conviction, which looked great for an early Xbox 360 release. But Blacklist looks, feel and sound truly amazing. Using such outdated tech but managed to outshine a lot of games back in 2013. It even has Tesselation effects. Gears of War used the Unreal Engine 3 in 2006, the engine itself was released in 2004. So I find it odd that neither Ubisoft Montreal, Shanghai or Toronto decided to upgrade to it. It isn't that fundamentally different, just more effective for modern hardware such as the Xbox 360. But since they had so heavily modified the Unreal Engine 2.5 for the purpose of Splinter Cell games, they stuck with it out of fear it would be too risky and complicated to migrate to a new toolset. But it is a pity and also explains why the Splinter Cell games are so slightly difficult to run on modern machines. But there are fixes for it. Blacklist natively support 16:9 aspect ratio. But to get it to run in 24:9 or 32:9 like I do, it doesn't really require the fusion patch for it, but I recommend it as it simplifies a lot. Blacklist in particular works surprisingly well with 32:9 aspect ratio maintaining the vertical field of view. And outdo most games that even have this aspect ratio built in, released in 2026 even. I wanted to write more but Steam limits the character count. Discuss the story etc. But short version: the game get's 8 out of 10 on Steam. 1. Because the servers are shut down, which also cut a significant portion of the game. 2. They replaced Fisher's voice actor Michael Ironside. Because in this game they decided to use voice acted motion capture and Ironside was too old to handle the acrobatics. Everything else is top notch gameplay and well worth the asking price.
that's good brada
