IF you can get it to launch, its a pretty cool action-stealth-hybrid. the "mark and execute"- feature and the interogations make this game a true gem.

Enjoyed this game when it came out and wanted to play it again as it had been awhile. Unfortunately, the game does not feel set up for modern gaming PC's. The control scheme is completely wrong with a controller. Have had issues with saves as well. Too bad, this is game is a classic for me.

I don't know what to say. I've owned this game since 2013, and it was one of the first games I ever bought on Steam. I was so excited to finally play it after playing the demo over and over on my Xbox 360, but it wouldn't even start. I didn't know how to fix it, so I gave up and just stopped caring about it. My interest in playing it dwindled, and it's been sitting in my hidden games collection ever since. But just the other day, I thought to myself, "Why don't I try to get this to finally work." So today, about 12 1/2 years later, it did. I made all the file changes and got all the mods needed to get this thing to run, and boy let me tell you, I don't know if I should have. All this time, the amazing game that I had in my head is not at all what I had played. I made it through the tutorial and the first mission, but I just couldn't bring myself to keep playing. Even with all the troubleshooting to get this running smoothly, it still runs terribly. Also, the writing and AI are so laughably bad, they almost make the game good. It got a few laughs out of me, but it personally wasn't enough to keep me playing. You may get more mileage out of it, but considering it's been almost 13 years since I bought this and it still doesn't function properly, I just can't recommend it, even on sale. It shouldn't even be listed on Steam. It's a crying shame how Ubisoft treats their older games. It's a spit in the face--not only to people who like these games and/or want to play them, but also to the ones who poured their time and energy into working on them. What do you have to show for when all your games become abandonware?
