Today Is My Birthday

My feelings are the same as most of the reviews I see. An unfinished masterpiece. The game could be outstanding great!.. but its not optimized. Play testing and feedback corrections is a must on a game of this type. From the start, motorcycle runs out of gas?? why not have the road blocked (like the game shows, and have the player want to find a short cut.. which is what happens). First bad guy, and area is great, but I didn't know what to pick up and what I needed to progress forward. So much depth was there, but not made to feel like I was even needing to do anything.. Next, the importance of my life, in the game play, is more important than evidence for police. PUT A VICTIM in the game to rescue. !!!! Now I need to move forward to find who needs saving, and WE get pictures and maybe get out. Pictures are so Not important, and the last thing, I need. Camera flashes stuns the dog, but I can't get the darn key off his collar?? Thats broken. Path finding, direction of play, maybe some kind of walk way lighting or "survival sense" button that glows a path to go next or direction through the woods or park would work. Just to scratchcard feeling for immersion and coherence. Kinda bummed Ill go watch a YouTube video and enjoy this game more than actually playing it. That seems kind of harsh for the work put into making this game, but that's where it is with me. A Master piece of story, visuals and game play, just super unfinished. Would love to see some patches and I'll be back for sure.

Now this isn't the worst horror on steam and it's by no means truly terrible but once I was done I realised I did not want to play for a second more, nor would I recommend anyone else to play. It's just not a worthwhile purchase, even at 50% off. The biggest sin this game commits is it's just not scary. Not once in this did I feel terror. There's a nice smattering of gore, but that's about it, and the environments are dark and grimy, but the enemies hunting you are not particular intimidating. Especially when all it takes is a brief flashlight to stun them. The second biggest crime was movement. Lordie this was not a fun game to get about it. The protagonist has to be the unfittest man in existence. He has a slow walking pace and he cannot run more than a few seconds without stopping for a breather. This is really brought home to bear in the final half hour where you're navigating big open areas with not a lot in them. And this is exacerbated even moreso, as the game really doesn't do a great job of signposting things at all. Especially in that last areas where you're combing all over to find 3 parts of a key. It is uniquely unsatisfying finale, and not a way to endear your player at all. And I don't mind as a rule exploring the entirety of a level. Especially as the levels are actually quite well done in the main. But the game did some other ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ things as well which finally wore out my patience, like having a doll I defeated drop a grey key onto a grey floor, making me fruitlessly hunt all over the environments only to realise, after checking a walkthrough where it was. Also the game is very buggy. It crashed hard to desktop twice in my short runtime. And another puzzle stopped responding and I had to just let myself be killed to unstick it. The story is pretty meh, and, although the protagonist is actually well voice acted, the rest of the dialogue and audio in general is pretty subpar. And surprisingly, despite the game's tagline, it has very little to do with clowns, so coulrophobics can still partake if they're so inclined. But I'd advise them, and everyone else, to avoid.

Rotundamente NO. Tenía en muy alta estima a esta compañia por los buenos momentos que me ha dado, pero este juego es una vergüenza venderlo así: La idea es buena, la ambientación está bien, me gustaba la premisa, pero tiene tal cantidad de bugs brutales que no se por donde empezar; Me cuelga el ordenador, casi ningún juego lo consigue, este sí, varias veces. De repente el ratón no sirve para mirar, los botones sí funcionan, toca salir. Luchando con un enemigo me empuja y HOP, atravieso un muro, me convierto en un fantasma que no puede volver al camino normal y veo todo a traves de las paredes. Luchas con el boss enano del sombrero y da unos lagazos (pausas) impresionantes que hace que sea dificilísimo acertar al enano, eso no le afecta a él, te mata y a volver al checkpoint, como se ha grabado como le da la gana te falta un objeto y tienes que hacer todo el camino hasta el principio del nivel, volver, mueres y vuelta a cargar el juego y empezar... Cambias parámetros gráficos y guarda lo que le da la gana. Cambias parámetros gráficos y la pantalla empieza a parpadear a lo bestia, toca salir al escritorio. Cambias parámetros gráficos, le dices que los guarde y no funciona el botón de aceptar... No puedo más, en insoportable, del tiempo que he pasado jugando la mitad se ha ido en bugs, crashes y movidas varias. No pienso tocarlo hasta que lo arreglen, y creo que puedo esperar sentado... No lo recomiendo ni regalado, ataca a los nervios.

Venghino signori, venghino, a Wonderland, dove maniaci, psicopatici, e trafficanti di organi umani assortiti vi attendono in un turbinio di bug non risolti, glitch a pacchi e obbiettivi non ben definibili e realizzabili con relative innumerevoli imprecazioni conditi da zucchero filato e giostre arruginite con relativo parco a tema lugubre e devastato dai suddetti obbrobriosi personaggi con parrucca e nasone rosso. Gioco da rivedere, in futuro, quando sarà riveduto e corretto, molto corretto, per renderlo OTTIMIZZATO. Today is my birthday è un succulento tagliolino all'astice, preparato dal miglior Chef e con i migliori propositi, ma...purtroppo, manca l'astice, ed al momento è condito con sardine neppure tanto fresche. Può ambire in futuro a uno spaghetto scotto con acciughe. Uno degli indie Horror che ha deluso le mie aspettative. Al momento, richiesto rimborso, e pure senza rifletterci troppo.

Historia: Es un survival horror con mucho misterio y una banda sonora inquietante, ademas de una buena ambientacion que te hara sumergirte en la oscuridad Nivel Puzzles: Intermedio Capitulos: 4 Finales: 2 Logros: 19 Mecanica: Buscar documentos e items para avanzar en la historia, enfrentamientos con varios enemigos, en algunos casos el sigilo tambien ayudara, cuentas con stamina( puede ser un problema si no lo sabes usar) y recarga de baterias para la linterna, contaras con una camara que te servira para obtener evidencias ademas de ser una aliada para enfrentarte a los distintos obstaculos Idioma: Ingles Subtitulos: Ingles Duracion: 3 a 4 horas Recomendado: 6/10
