Addictive arcade with simple controls and fast stages that invite you to play them during a quick break. The goal of the game is to get the mammoth to the top of the tower while avoiding traps. The game is very simply because you can only move left and right; the mammoth will drop to the tile below or jump if a tile is higher. While there is an action button, it is only needed when you grab the proper perk. These perks are available at perk stations, where you can only choose one out of random three. Some are one-time use and protect you against traps, such as an umbrella for acid drops, while others speed up your progress, such as faster climbing or a stronger punch for smashing blocks. And some, such as slingshot, require the action button to shoot. New perks, purchased with coins from the main menu, have a chance to appear at the perk stations. Depending on the tower’s size, you can find more than one perk station. If you grow weary of the mammoth, you can spend cash on new skins. The collection is pretty large, which provides you a good reason to waste money. You will need everything you have got since the game can be tricky. There are traps everywhere, including spikes that emerge from the floor or walls, platforms that collapse beneath your weight, enemies who jump around, and other surprises. You also cannot fall from a height. What makes this difficult is that you only have one life. If you die, you will have to restart the whole tower. However, this is not a deal breaker. Towers take only a few minutes, and you can take as much time as you need. Of course, defeating a tower quickly will earn you all three stars, but you will not have to meet certain requirements to make progress. Another reason to go fast is the three boost zones, each of which provides a new perk. This can be easily “cheated” by jumping fast left and right. The first zone allows you to gain bonus perks that are normally unseen, the second zone doubles the coin worth, and the third zone makes you faster. The game's main mode is time trial, which has 100 stages. These are organized into five chapters, each with 20 stages. Although you can play any chapter, you must complete all 20 stages within each chapter in order. Except for their varied appearances, towers are not really different because they all have the same trap. The entire experience is quite addictive because it is quite easy to beat one tower, go do something else, and then return a few hours later to play another tower. Getting all three stars per tower is not difficult, and even dying allows you to grind for cash because they respawn and you keep all you gather despite dying. The sole critique is that there are no achievements that reward you for beating towers with three stars.
