Since this is free, the question is more, "Is this worth playing?" than "Is it worth the price"? Yes, it is worth playing, but don't set your expectations too high. It's a very simple "spectacle" fighter with a couple of moves and a few platforming sections. The movements are a bit clunky and unnatural. Notice in particular how the main character runs. Sound effects are not mixed well in terms of volume. Music tracks are average or bad. The combat system is functional but does not feel satisfying or cool. Design of the monsters is nice as well as the humour shown in the conversations and signs. I had some fun and for a free game, it gets a passing grade.

I thought I wrote a review for this game a while back, but apparantly I did not. So, as I redownload it to play it for the 4th time, I will do it now. This game is an absolute gem. It's free, so I didn't have much expectations from it. The combat is simple, and the animations a re a little wonky in places, but the story and script sucked me in right away! The game is simple to play, non-stressful and fairly short but sweet. The story is heart felt and beautiul with various pockets of humor thrown in. I loved every moment of this game, and I continue to love it every time I replay it. It always manages to boost my mood, and the ending never disappoints no matter how many times I replay. A shocking surprising gem among the free games genre for sure ^^
This is what separates a good game from a bad one: how much heart and effort went into its design. It's the difference between playing something that someone really cared about and playing the soulless product of a corporate machine.
Fun, simple game with beautiful art style. Plus the cat has the same name as one of my cats! Only downside is it's short and I want more customization!
It's a nice free game and I was enjoying myself, up until I reach the areas that required me to jump up and climb over to other platforms. I can't even skip it because you need to do it in order to progress to the next section. The jumping/climbing mechanic is unfortunately not very good and glitchy, it's especially noticeable in the turnpike construction zone. It was so frustrating that I had quit before I flip my damn table in rage. I really wanted to find my cat. It's why I spent so long trying to get pass it and eventually I did after taking a break for a whole day. Would I recommend the game? Hmm, I guess not, I don't think it's worth the frustration that it was at times. Because I also experience unexpected bugs/glitches. For example, at one point I even fell through the map because the game wasn't done loading when the elevator's doors opened (this happened at the night club/dance zone).
The person behind the making of this game can be a great game director if properly trained, and he/she will need a full dev crew of talented artists, musicians and programmers to make this game shine. At current state, this is simply a potential concept game, the art needs overhaul, and the music needs some original work, while the control is very unresponsive... But the game flow, the basic foundation is built well and well planned. Looking forward to see further work with a proper full dev crew under the lead of this game creator. The potential is there, just need a lot of polishing.
