I love this game!

This isn't a game. It's a tour of the solar system and it is AWESOME! Well worth the $10 price tag if you're a space geek/nerd and have a PCVR headset.

A superb tour round the solar system, with amazing close ups of the sun, the planets and their moons, before briefly heading further afield for a quick look at a white dwarf and a red giant stars, and their relative sizes. The tour was even better than a planetarium fulldome film because after each stop on the tour, you can fly up to the planets and moons and take a close look. The commentary was packed with facts, many of them repeated on a display in your virtual star buggy. The whole tour lasts several hours, particularly if you zoom around looking at the planets at each stop. The named featured on each planet and moon are labelled so you can see what each one actually looks like. It's so good, I wish there was more. I could imagine a commentary on nebulae, clusters, black holes and the like.

Aplicación en VR absolutamente recomendable para conocer con detalle nuestro sistema solar, en mi opinión la mejor de todas en el sentido didáctico. El manejo es muy sencillo al menos con Rift S y además todos los textos están traducidos al castellano, por lo que puedes seguir al ritmo que te quieras marcar las explicaciones de cada uno de los planetas. Uso mucho la aplicación Space Engine también en VR y ésta me parece sencillamente el complemento ideal, porque aquí como digo te enteras perfectamente de los entresijos de cada planeta, y cuando navegas por el universo en la otra entiendes a donde quieres ir ... Es muy impresionante ver la galaxia a escala gigante en Space Engine pero antes yo por lo menos no me enteraba de la misa a la mitad ... Sin duda más que satisfecho con mi compra, y sin duda se la recomiendo a cualquier amante de la astronomía.

just amazing and educational

One of the cooler VR experiences!

Super educational, absolutely stunning in VR. Friendly robot guide has plenty to say about each location, and might be great especially for kids with an interest in space. A solar system mode would've been nice. I believe the developer just mostly settled on "they can do it themselves in flight mode" which, I mean, it's still nice you can technically do it, I guess, but also it felt like it was a small amount of effort away from just putting in a button. Real distance tours would've been cool for those that might be overwhelmed by the sheer size of the sun. You can, however, show a real distance perspective from any planet at the push of a button. Should've utilized this for a solar system view. Still, I don't think there's much else like this, so I appreciate having it at all.

Just came back from there... It is full of stars... I have previous version from Oculus store and hesitated a bit to get this one as the previous version was big too.. Simple... Wait.. I just realized this is the same version.. or not... hm.. whatever, author deserve my Euros.. :-) This one? It is a must for every parent that likes his kid to understand the space. (which should be every parent with VR tbh) I love universe and this is so far the best representation of planets in VR so far. Not even universe sandbox has such details of surface etc. There are just two things I miss (and I hope author will read this) A) time - I'd love to have an option to watch planets rotate in their natural cycle. Isn't it interesting that it takes Earth 24 hrs to spin while for Jupiter it is just 9.5 hrs... B) Earth could have double or triple layer of textures. Clouds moving in different pace than surface being in different height. Not even NASA sims have it and honestly, I'd love to just sit on the orbit thinking about my small problems and watch the planet turn... Just don't attempt to land on Europe... In both cases...
