I wanted to wait until I had completed the game to leave a review. And while I still have a few achievements to chase and a few stamps in game to get, I've approached 30 hours and that feels like a great time to leave my thoughts. Tiny Bookshop is a 10/10. If I could rank it higher I would. The game play seems simple - you run a mobile bookshop across a small coastal town and meet a variety of interesting and diverse characters. Your goal is to meet their needs in what they want to see stocked in your store and increase sales as the years go by. You do this by making sure you purchase the right genres of books for the area you're in and decorating your bookstore with items that give bonuses to certain aspects of the game - from recommendations, customer count, and genre increases. Along the way you encounter a wonderful cast of NPC character who give you quests to fill your days. Some are simple fetch quests, others involve your store, and others involve some point and click mysteries as you sell your books. It's truly a delight. Tiny Bookshop is the type of cozy game many of us have longed for. There is no combat or drama. There is just stocking your bookshop, interacting with your customers, and decorating this charming little wagon you drag around across the rich locations of this beautiful town. I truly believe that Tiny Bookshop will be cemented in there with some of the greats of the cozy game genre. Whether you're an avid reader, someone who enjoys inventory management, or a decorator this game will have something for you. I fully recommend someone seeking a cozy, calming game to give Tiny Bookshop a try.

listen I love this game, the music is great, the stories and characters are fantastic, the game art is wonderful, and I felt like every second of my time spent on this game is the best. BUT WHERE IS MY KISS FERN ON THE CHEEK DLC?? HMMMM??? YOU TEMPT ME WITH THE MOST CUTEST, KINDEST, SWEETEST MOST PERFECT MAN EVER TO BE MADE AND YOU FORCE ME TO JUST NOT GIVE HIM A LIL PECK ON THE CHEEK????? U MONSTERS. other then that, 10/10 would recommend to everyone :D

Tiny Bookshop feels like the gaming equivalent of finding a quiet little second-hand bookshop during the rain and deciding you never want to leave. There’s something incredibly comforting about the whole experience. You spend your time arranging books, decorating your travelling shop, getting to know people in small seaside towns, and slowly creating a space that feels warm and personal rather than rushed or stressful. What I loved most is that the game understands that “small” does not mean empty. Every customer interaction, recommendation, decoration choice, and little conversation adds to the feeling that you’re building something meaningful one quiet step at a time. The art style is lovely, the atmosphere is cosy without feeling overly sugary, and the soundtrack has that soft wandering quality that makes you want a blanket, tea, and several uninterrupted hours to yourself. It’s the sort of game that makes you slow down a little. No saving the world. No fighting gods. Just books, little towns, kind moments, and the comforting feeling of belonging somewhere for a while. Honestly, if this game gets any cosier I may legally become part of the furniture.

This game is pretty much exactly what I hoped it would be, and more. It is cute. It is cozy. It has books. It also has some fun characters, interesting quests, and the ability to recommend real books to (fictional) people. I enjoy seeing book titles I know pop up, and even more seeing book titles I'd like to read. Do you like cozy games? Do you love books?? You will love this game.
