Omg I am obseeeeeeessed with this game. For some reason I held off on it for a while even though it was already on my wishlist. Delayed gratification I guess?? Anyways LEMME TELL YOU IT WAS WELL WORTH THE WAIT. The juicy gossip/drama, the storylines of the characters, the book-stocking and book-selling mechanics and gameplay loop is sooooo addictive. Sometimes I start playing and then three hours later I look outside and I'm like oh, it's dark already. Literally. It's so so so fun. I think if you love recommending books to people, you'll love this game. If you love decorating, item collection, you'll love this game. If you love cute secondary character storylines, yup this game is for you. Sometimes it can feel a little grind-y but I don't mind it so much since there's a good amount of locations to unlock and so many things to explore and little rewarding stamps and missions and achievements. Anywho. Give it a spin, a try, a whirl. It's defo worth it on sale and even full price! Oh and on recommending books, yes, sometimes the recommendations don't work because the customer is asking for something kinda unhinged lol or just not really possible with the current set you have. I'd say look through every blurb carefully, and also it's not like there's a super negative consequence if you can't correctly recommend a book so it's not a dealbreaker for me.

这里是天堂吗？好幸福……玩得废寝忘食昼夜颠倒日夜不分，这个游戏简直每一个像素点都在诠释幸福的定义，从现在开始我将放弃其他一切所有事情研究怎么才能过上游戏里这种日子（不是） 😭😭😭😭[spoiler] 索菲娅 [/spoiler]你带我走吧，我也要退学/辞职来到一个风景秀丽氛围舒缓居民和睦的滨海小镇，开着一辆卖书车不断积累资金从小破车到大书店，在各个地点与各个居民留下珍贵的回忆的同时把书山镇变成一个更美好的地方……书山镇的经纬度到底是多少我明天就要去😭😭😭😭 唯一的问题是本地化做得不太好，推荐书的时候跟顾客的交流总是牛头不对马嘴，我推荐《如果我们无法以光速前行》的时候顾客居然说这是爱情小说，我真的怒了！！！！但毕竟推书只是一个增益并不影响核心经营，而且玩到后面也能猜（呃）出顾客想要的书所以没关系；此外社交平台上似乎也有玩家总结了所有书与推书标签的对照表，不过反正推书对错影响不大而且书也不少所以我没有去记，有需要的话可以自行搜索一下，总体来说瑕不掩瑜啦，如果我的英文水平再高超一点也许我会玩英文版就没有这个问题了T^T 虽然玩了足足24小时（有参考攻略，不看攻略的话可能需要30+h）但我还是觉得不够长……不过要是再长一点我可能真的要抛弃现实生活每天开赛博书店然后把自己饿死了吧！从流程长度的角度来说也是很完美的一个游戏啊（感慨）

小的时候有一个想开书店的梦，感觉通过游戏替我实现了。在一边经营流动书店的同时，也在通过剧情，慢慢让一个老化的社区重新焕发活力，变得更好，也挺喜欢给顾客挑书的过程，让我不禁想，哦，原来当一个书店店员就是这样啊！个人很喜欢，如果你喜欢阅读，也喜欢经营类的悠闲游戏，不妨试试。

I'm writing this review the same day I purchased the game. I played for 11 hours straight. It's fantastic, adorable, cozy, and so much fun. The daily loop is satisfying, has enough variations to feel fresh everyday through the ability to change locations and the book recommendation minigame. The world and characters feel well fleshed out, there's interactive elements in every area, items to find, and there's fun little events around the town often.

Super cute, cozy, and best of all literary!

I wish I had the option for a neutral review, but since I don't.. It's very cute to look at, but it's a continuous, tedious loop and the requests from customers are often difficult to parse. Regardless of what the book is actually about or what the summary says, a lot of the criteria for meeting the brief seem extremely subjective. For example, if someone asks for a short book, I'm thinking 200 pages is short, and then the brainrot customer reacts as if I spit on their face for suggesting a book so *long.* Altogether, this game looks soothing, but in experience it can be frustrating.
